It blows my mind how someone can be so against being paid more. How can you rationalize that our pay is commensurate with the current and foreseeable market conditions? How can you be satisfied with the current formula method that determines our pay?
Everytime, these dudes come out the woodwork about be careful, look at laid off NavCanada, be careful look at laid off UPS office workers. These dudes are fine if we got a pay cut and still would say, "best job in the world."

Loser mentality gets loser paychecks.

The NAS is so short staffed who is going to lay off US Air Traffic Controllers?

Don't feed into him, this guy is Rich Santa's burner acct

Sounds like something similar to what PATCO was thinking circa ‘81. With that being said, current politicians don’t have the balls given their obsession with public optics in a very divided political climate..

Lastly, don’t confuse what I’m saying. We need a raise.
Yeah I think PATCO way over played their hand, we don't even have a hand with this union. Our figurative NATCA hands are in the FAA's back pocket following them around like a prison bitch.

Anyone see the new Danials/Haltom video today? It’s really good, explains that they now have email access to membership to send out communication, apparently candidates were not suppose to do it until January 1st.

Also Haltom calls out Devine for shilling for the contract and now saying it sucks, which is great. I can’t believe it didn’t get more attention when Devine in a video said something like “I had to promote the contract as a NEB member, but now that I’m a candidate I can speak more freely how I feel about it” lol.

They always say this stuff but they never say what they want to do with contract

Hey Santa. Negotiate CRP(controller retention pay) of 10% or greater for all controllers. Not management, not tmu, or anyone in the front office. People have been running to these positions for better hours and less OT. Make it similar to CIP but all facilities get it. No cap like CIP and make it last til we are 100% staffed in the NAS using the new numbers. You do this before the election, and you got my vote.

This is what they need to do, something that will increase pay 10% by July. I'll even count the 1.6% in June toward that so he only needs to get 8.4%. A currency or retention bonus is my second favorite idea next to getting a 20% premium for every minute you are plugged in and working a position.

I think that is the best idea the FAA might buy off on as it would increase time on position and in theory decrease sick calls a bit. Plus it rewards the actual controllers not all the fucks on details.

I won’t. 10% then give me 1.6% on that. TOP premium until we negotiate a raise is the easiest way. Plus it’s a nice check on the FAA opening dead positions to punish controllers on break

I’ve been out of the loop, has ANY candidate said what they want to do with the contract?

Also, guys, Ralph Capone is a troll account. It’s hard to take your valid ideas and complaints seriously when you’re feeding this guy.
No and if you ask they’ll just say we can’t let the FAA know. Which is a total bogus argument.

Link?

It's on their NDJH instagram. Unfortunate to hear from Jamal that they're not gonna do anything about the contract "until its time to negotiate the contract" so those of you who are hoping for something with pay, or a "Raise When?" can wait at least 2 more years!
