Saying both sides in this situation is such an enlightened centrist position. One side spews violent rhetoric for years and when the violence they all call for is turned against them they wonder why no one feels any sympathy. One side actively tries to take away peoples rights while the other one just sucks off corporations, just like the other one does. I wish both sides were the same, if democrats didn't take the high road because they have no conviction we wouldn't be in this shit show in the first place
And what an excellent biased response. Just perfection. The exact example of political blinders that brainwash everyone.

You blame republicans for spewing violent rhetoric while conveniently ignoring all the violent rhetoric the left does, including the President spewing to put him in a bullseye or all the other clips throughout the years from Dem politicians. Meanwhile Dems are the ones actually committing political violence.

For the last part of your message, agreed.

I can't tell if you seriously think milquetoast sleepy Joe Biden uses more violent rhetoric than Donald Trump. Is this real? Do you truly want to compare the two or do you want to be "right"?

There’s more Dems spewing bullshit than Biden. Get real. And I’m not excusing the right either, they do it too. But don’t act like the left is clean and innocent, give me a break

Are the dems commiting political violence in the room with us? Or are you also thinking the person who has all signs except one donation pointing towards being conservative is actually a democrat

I'm being real. You almost answered the question by your omission. Does Joe Biden use more violent rhetoric than Donald Trump?

Yes, there are other members of the democratic party. Do you believe that they, as a whole, use more violent rhetoric than their republican counterparts? My observation is that they don't as often use violent rhetoric in debates, political ads, and general discourse. But obviously we look at different sources.

If I see a radio, television, or online ad with dehumanizing language, fear mongering (white replacement and immigrants "poisoning the blood of our country"), or anger based ads I instinctively think it is a republican candidate.

In the 2022 election cycle, 104 ads from republican candidates features firearms. Of those ads:
"Roughly a quarter include threats of various kinds. (In this analysis, an ad was considered as making a threat if a candidate metaphorically targeted individuals, political affiliations, institutions, or agendas with their weapons and/or if they displayed a firearm while declaring their willingness to do anything to “fight” their opponents.)" CAPaction

I don't see a lot of democrats making threats towards individuals or institutions while holding a gun in their hands.

A closing quote from the man who was shot at:
"By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don't know."

but but but but both sides are the same I'm wholesome centrist and am enlightened both parties are the same in every way

Just checking. But, if they are "registered" to the same party as the person they are trying to kill, then it doesn't count? Political rhetoric doesn't influence them?

Steve Scalise was shot when a Democrat open fired on republicans during a celebrity softball game, Rand Paul was attacked and hospitalized with broken ribs by a Democrat, a Democrat was arrested for traveling to the home of Brett Kavanaugh to kill him. Trumps shooter voted and donated blue but sure he was a registered republican.

but yeah Dems have no part in the political violence and do no wrong ever even know they have actually tried to kill people. You all are biased lunatics. I’ll stay centrist and grounded before I become as corrupt in the head as you all.

Not in the lunatic lefts mind

Have you read anything in the news anymore? It’s constant political rhetoric from the left. Trump is hitler, Trump is a dictator, Trump is a threat to democracy, Trump is a threat to our lives, Trump with the picture of the red handmaids tales. MAGA is the biggest terrorist threat to our country or #1 enemy blah blah blah.. I can go on and on.

True or false: the attempt on Donald Trump’s life is a horrible thing and political violence should never happen.
Where have I ever said anything different, all I pointed out was how the right is hypocrticial crying over this when they have pushed for nothing different over the last eight years.

You cant claim to be centrist and then not see how the person loading the courts to the decisions they have made isn't an issue. You can't cosplay a centrist and have right wing views lmao

This is the issue. You all think exposing the left for their lies and hypocrisy is a right wing view. Keep moving the goal posts buddy. Whatever it takes to keep that tribalism alive!

Where did the rest of the teamsters say that? I’m looking for quantifiable things like the border patrol union flat out posting that they don’t endorse Biden right after he stated they did during that absolute shit show of a debate. (That last statement was aimed at both candidates)
You can honestly just Google it if you are looking for all the sources but there are plenty of them out there. Palmer, one of the VPs on the Teamsters eboard, has been the most vocal about it. But again, O’Brien has also asked the DNC to speak at their convention with no answer received yet so we’ll see what happens there.
