I don’t see him jumping on.
For one, he wants to be president, not vice. He pulled out of Super Tuesday to save his brand for a future run.
2nd, most presidential campaigns are planned years ahead, not 3 months before the election. Don’t care who you are, or what party, that’s a tall order cooking up a campaign with no notice and no time.
3rd. Harris has a good chance of losing. Trying to be objective and generous I’d say she has a 50/50 shot at best. More critical might call it 48/52? Either way, who would want to attach themselves to a ticket that is very likely to lose. Being a proven loser in presidential politics usually doesn’t get you too far. Romney and McCain, Warren and Hillary could all fill you in about that. Maybe someone older might jump in, or they could get someone younger but less well known to jump the gun and take a crack at it for shits and giggles.
The younger up and coming big name democrats people toss around want a political future… for that reason I don’t think you’ll see anyone like Pete or Gavin newsom jumping in… they were already planning on 2028, and I don’t see them jumping in ahead of schedule on very short notice with a candidate who… frankly sucks.

We have her numbers from 2020… they weren’t great. There’s been some not for distribution polls from the campaigns these last few weeks, as well as a few polls to get the general mood from a few news orgs and apparently they show she polls better than Biden but that in and of itself is still not great, if you believe the news stories.
