The fbi are in fact law enforcement and are overwhelmingly red. You really don’t think that? I absolutely agree they do some fucked up shit, but we work for the feds, look around, so do we. We cheat, lie, scam and abuse taxpayers time and money. Not a lot but it happens. My issue with the fbi is corrupt movement, including Desantis recently saying he would cut the fbi by 50 percent, what litmus test will be used to determine who is a good worker? Who will replace them? None of that is spelled out it’s just lip service.

Also, republicans wanting to increase police budgets without question is pretty ridiculous. If the fbi is corrupt why isn’t obvious to them local departments can be just as corrupt? It’s so ridiculous

And creating a newer, more high quality wave of agents doesn’t require some de facto litmus test, you just have to change the way they’re trained and the standards they’re held to. You are correct in saying that all fed employees skirt the system to an extent. But these days, pretty much all federal law enforcement do this to the point where they’re just cronies out to get people, and that’s why nobody trusts/likes them.

It is documented, in the Mueller Report & the Senate Intel Committee investigation that was led by Senator Marco Rubio, that the Russian government assisted the Trump campaign, met with members of the Trump campaign, and the Trump campaign welcomed that assistance, but that doesn’t mean the Russian government rigged an election. It does mean the felon has been a traitor to this nation since 2016 though.

A peaceful protest doesn’t breach and takeover a government building. Even the ones walking around inside who didn’t break anything or do anything physically to anyone themselves still are breaking the law by just being in the building. It was a peaceful protest all morning and through the speeches and in the march down to the Capitol. The second they decided to break through a fence and overrun the security there, it turned. If it had been a mostly Democrat “protest” you can bet the Republicans would have a completely different tune than they do today.

But that’s the problem with people that can’t open their eyes to the entire picture and instead continue to support someone like they are his personal lawyer. No single quote caused Jan 6. It’s the entire rhetoric and behavior the entire 4+ years of the campaign and presidency that caused it. The Trump supporters I know support him because he isn’t like any other politician. He’s an outsider. They support the entire idea of “blowing it all up”. Not literally using an explosive but blowing up the mess that is Washington by drastic changes. After losing the election, Trump and the campaign kept up that messaging and saying it was rigged and stolen from them, not because they lost. Trump doesn’t lose. All of that leads to what happened on Jan 6. Everyone knew something like this would probably happen but when it finally did, no one could believe it.
