The videos you mention that “show” that are being misrepresented by the right. The journalists that actually shot the videos say as much. According to the journalists, the police were vastly outnumbered and stopped defending the barricade/doors. That is not “letting them in”. That is not escalating a situation to make it even worse. All of that came out in the investigations of the day that republicans like to ignore because they are “fake” investigations. A lot of republicans were completely against the actions of that day in the days and weeks after it. But as time went on, it became “peaceful”. The partisan blinders is just unreal from some people. I don’t give a damn that they were republicans. I give a damn that a group of people broke into the Capitol because they didn’t agree with something. The fact that some people just think that’s ok is just mind boggling.
Yeah it’s hard to keep track of these violent democratic politicians

Oh man a few broken windows and knocked over decor. Yeah so violent… never mind the numerous people beaten to death, cars destroyed, buildings burned, stores looted etc. in just about every major city in the United States during the “fiery but mostly peaceful protests.” Didn’t even need testimony, we all watched it live on tv. 🤷🏼♂️

The two have nothing to do with one another. You’re doing nothing more than trying to deflect from The Felon’s violent coup attempt by comparing it to unrelated events that were not organized by any Democratic officeholder. Cops died as a result of the failed coup attempt. For the first time in American history, there was not a peaceful transfer of power after a presidential election. We have The Felon & his voters to thank for that.
Non sequitur as usual. VP Harris did not organize a mob of violent criminals & direct them to stop the certification of ballots in an attempt to stay in power after losing a fair election. His entire goal that day was to stop Congress from certifying the results of his epic defeat.

Yet another non sequitur. You post video of The Felon’s buffoonish attorneys making completely irrelevant arguments in an attempt to deflect. None of those speeches led to the audience attacking our Capitol building in a coup attempt. Like I’ve said multiple times, the criminals convicted for January 6th say they were acting at the direction of The Felon.

How about this? You aren’t convincing anybody. Nobody is convincing you. You vote for who you’re going to vote for, everybody else votes who they are going to vote for. There is literally nothing anybody can say that will open the other person’s mind to the possibility that they may be wrong… be honest with yourself. You’re not going to win anybody over and you’re not going to read a comment and suddenly think trump isn’t at fault for everything bad that has happened in history.

You’re correct about one thing. I can’t persuade the unpersuadable. I can’t convince flat earthers that the earth is not flat. However, the shape of the earth is not subjective nor up for debate, so their opinion on it is irrelevant. In the law, there is the “but for” test to determine guilt/liability. But for The Felon summoning his cult and inciting them to attack the Capitol, the entire attack never happens at all. That’s irrefutable & not a matter of subjective opinion.

Good rule of thumb... you shouldn't try to persuade others if you’re incapable of being persuaded yourself. You expect others to remain open to new information, ideas, and consider your viewpoint when you are unwilling to do the same.
That is not persuasion. That is smugness. Next time you engage somebody to try and convince them of something, first ask yourself if there is any chance whatsoever that you change your view. If the answer is "no," just shut the fuck up and save everybody's time.

Which, the Cannon documents case that has nothing at all to do with Jan 6?
That one got dropped because she's a partisan hack who's been dragging the case out for like 2 years now because she can't possibly allow herself to hold him accountable and then not beg to get a Supreme Court seat if he gets re-elected. The case being dropped had zero basis in existing law. It will get overturned on appeal and she'll likely be removed from the case since she's already been overturned on several other obviously biased decisions she's made.
His case did not get dropped. Special Counsel Jack Smith still has an active prosecution against The Felon on that case in the federal court in DC. Does Fox not tell its viewers these things?
Right. Those convicted by Special Prosecutors/Counsels have, for decades, tried the same arguments as The Felon. Their claims that a Special Prosecutor is unconstitutional have been roundly rejected by both district and appeals courts. Aileen Loose Cannon is trying to overturn precedent by higher courts, which is not a thing in our judicial system. Only higher courts can overturn lower courts, not the other way around.
Yea... not just that, but the law explicitly states the AG can hire and delegate people to do duties such as be a Special Counsel. The whole thing is so astoundingly stupid.
