Opinions yes. But then they go and try to ban books and marriage and abortions and everything else.
There are only two genders… and it ain’t determined by what you “feel.”
I’ll leave ya with that.

Boomers still rambling about Pluto being the 9th planet... sometimes what you learned growing up is different than reality. Sometimes things change over time. And sometime there is more nuance to life than what is taught to young children. There are only two genders… and it ain’t determined by what you “feel.”

Genders were thought of as binary and immutable for a long time by the western world. That's changing. There are thousands of years of historical precedent for cultures who identify more than two genders. We are living in a time and place where your birth genetalia have less and less to do with your role in society and how the world sees you. You can either adapt, or not, but the world is changing regardless of your opinion.
So why do you have to control those other people? Just let them do their thing and you do your thing. Isn’t that way freedom is supposed to be about?Nope. There are men and there are women. And then there are a bunch of confused people who believe that subjective feelings somehow change physical truth.
It’s that simple. God save children from ideologues like you who can’t even answer the basic question “how many genders are there?”
I'll wade into this, but not directly related to what you are asking. Tolerating people and how they live their lives is something I strongly believe in (we can debate what the limit is some other time), what I do not believe in is people telling me I have to accept something because someone else does. Now, I am very well aware of the broad implications of saying this but within context I trust everyone to be adults and understand. So why do you have to control those other people? I don’t even think you need to accept it even. It’s the active banning of people living in a way that doesn’t affect anyone else they I have a problem with.I'll wade into this, but not directly related to what you are asking. I do not have to accept squat and I choose to tolerate certain things because I believe it to be within the spirit of the constitution and founding of this country, but do not come to me and tell me I have to accept something just because most people accept it and I should as well.

Again, I shall choose to intentionally remain vague but have a spirited discussion, the line is crossed (on both sides) when you tell someone "I am this way and I have a right to influence children." By all means live your life and in a perfect world everyone should be tolerant, but reaching out to kids and intentionally exposing them to a certain life styles is sort of at my limit. By no means am I advocating hatred, bigotry, or any sort of action against such people, but let kids live their life and enjoy their childhood.I don’t even think you need to accept it even. Totally agree, we shouldn't have to expose our kids to interracial marriages. Let people love who they want to love, just do it in silence and out of the public view.Again, I shall choose to intentionally remain vague but have a spirited discussion, the line is crossed (on both sides) when you tell someone "I am this way and I have a right to influence children." When you are a legal adult, more power to on how you want to live your life.

Not hateful at all.
Not what I was saying at all and I am out... Sigh, well adult discussions were nice while they lasted.Totally agree, we shouldn't have to expose our kids to interracial marriages. Let people love who they want to love, just do it in silence and out of the public view.

The right using Carlin for memes is rich
It's embarrassing to be found with your pants down and your hypocrisy on display. I understand your anger. It’s disingenuous bullshit like this which makes having any meaningful conversation impossible with people like you.
You know damn well what is being discussed but then you throw in some horseshit about race? What???
Go fuck yourself. Everybody knows what you’re doing including yourself and it’s disgusting. Apparently that’s what you have to do though… if you apparently support exposing children to sexuality and explicit content, ya gotta razzle-dazzle the crowd with some accusation of racism to distract.
Why should I be forced to accept that "JD Vance" is really "JD Vance" when he can't even accept that he was "James Donald Bowman"?Why should I be forced to accept somebody for who they pretend to be when they couldn’t even accept themselves for who they were?
"Certain life styles" are always exposing themselves to kids. When a teacher says "Last week I was Miss Jones, but now I'm Mrs. Smith" that's exposing kids to a life style. When Mrs. Smith comes to work pregnant that's exposing kids to a life style. When Shrek and Fiona kiss in the movie that's exposing kids to a lifestyle.reaching out to kids and intentionally exposing them to a certain life styles is sort of at my limit.
Why should I be forced to accept that "JD Vance" is really "JD Vance" when he can't even accept that he was "James Donald Bowman"?
Who someone says they are is who they are. Simple as that.
