I was kind of wondering that myself. If there are 4 grads willing to go to a very hard-to-staff facility like ZNY, would they really turn 2 of them away? Makes no sense unless there was some massive training backlog, but knowing the agency it's probably what they've concluded to be the smartest and most brilliant strategy.

I just meant more so that 4 can’t go to ZLA. Which would probably explain why they were being so sketchy about sharing where they want if they were going to take something others wanted

123atc shows ZLA at 82% projected to be at 92%, crazy they would allow 4.

I dont know if anyone has heard about this. But on the latest list they removed ZLC during evals informing the class its no longer available.

New list dropped today and a center called "ZLV (Las Vegas ARTCC)" was added. Address is 6417 NW Tenth St, Las Vegas, NV 89015 (zip is for Henderson tho). Its a Cat B facility as well.

Haven’t heard anything about this. I’d have check on KSN tomorrow to confirm whether that list is legit or not

There's a Las Vegas Approach controller on Reddit saying that ZLV isn't a thing. Which makes this entire thing even more confusing.
