Someone correct me if I'm wrong here but I'm pretty sure the FAA has always had those requirements posted but the ATO had an internal MOU or SOP that came out restricting reinstatement further to the 1 year separated and same or lesser level. Unless that changed internally, I would think it still remains in place to deter people from trying to bypass ncept.

If they went back to the old way I bet they could instantly net 100 or so controllers that are just hanging around getting offered trash prior experience lists in cities they don’t want to be in. I’m biased tho and get why they probably will never do that again lol

A few facilities could temp me, but I am at the point where if I go back I will lose money (minus differentials) and my sweet 4/10’s M-T.

They will offer based off your experience if you go prior experience bid but you’re not limited to the number max of the facility you left like you are with reinstatement.

I believe they still follow the separation requirement though. So if you applied for a bid within a year of leaving, they may only offer your old facility.
