Someone has to work at these facilities right? I’m pretty sure the agency wants to consolidate a lot of places, that should help.

That's debatable. I think low level radar facilities are better off consolidated and some towers level 4 and 5s shouldnt even have controllers there. There are contract towers pumping out way more numbers then these faa towers for absolute dog shit pay which is infuriating for everyone.

the problem was exacerbated when they started sending people to random facilities at the end of Oklahoma and NATCA went “cool”.
