More premiums and bonuses make it so that they don’t have to actually negotiate the scales or the cap. They proved they can do it with OJTI. People would bang out less or be willing to split sectors and work longer for money. Some would at least
Most people where I work are sick of OT so not sure this would motivate them anymore then the status quo. Also this would be a huge negative to high 3 calculation.

I was under the impression that CIP is just for facilities where they actually work.

You've been under the wrong impression. Time to stop celebrating your ignorance and embrace some facts.

🔥🔥🔥 #BREAKING 🔥🔥🔥

Senate confirms FAA chief. Here’s the mess awaiting him.

This is unexpected great news for controllers and all but assures the RAZE WEN movement will bear fruit before the NATCA election. Whitaker has made comments that hewants to make ATC a more attractive & competitive job w better quality of life. He even proposed a 2nd academy to support training. Congrats all!

Sheeeeet. We might not even be getting a paycheck for Christmas

Agreed keep OJTI 20% make it permanent. Work on increased CIC and Saturday differentials. On top of RAZE WEN!
Think all the old fucks will work Saturday in that case and I can actually enjoy my kids sporting events?

What the hell is the status of the RAZE WEN movement!? This thread got too quiet after the FCT simps stopped bitching.

Is Michael Whitaker going to form a holy alliance w Santa & be our Benaiah or what?

In Whitaker’s email he mentioned something to the extent of needing a deep bench to lean on. Give us a solid and renegotiate pay now! They need trainers to keep up with Santa’s and FAA 5 year hiring plan, and I’m talking more than the OJT pay. Raise the paybands and 10% base raise now.

Message from FAA Administrator Mike Whitaker

I am honored to serve as your FAA Administrator.

Dear FAA Team,
I am honored to serve as your FAA Administrator. Your incredible dedication and unwavering commitment to our mission inspired me to return and serve alongside you.
I was Deputy Administrator from 2013–2016, and I learned then that the FAA's greatest strength is its people. I'm grateful to gain from your collective experience and knowledge as we work together to solve the challenges we face today.
Our overarching priority remains steadfast – the safety of the flying public. To that end, I look forward to strengthening and building upon our world-leading safety record. We recognize that even one serious close call is one too many, and we are committed to making the skies safer.
We must also be willing to adjust and adapt to meet future airspace needs. In a rapidly evolving aviation landscape, our flexibility and creativity will be critical to the successful integration of drones, commercial space launches and air taxis into the National Airspace System. These exciting challenges are poised for our innovative solutions.
To enhance safety today and into the future, our workforce requires a deep bench of skilled public servants. Together, we will cultivate a workplace that attracts the best and brightest.
In closing, I want to emphasize that our safety mission is a collective endeavor. I urge you to engage with me and your colleagues about what we're doing well and where we can improve. I'm a big believer in open lines of communication and candid conversations. Having both are key waypoints on our path to enhancing the FAA Safety Culture and making the FAA a better place to work.
You have my promise to lead the FAA with integrity and a passion for our safety mission. Once again, I am profoundly honored to serve as your Administrator, and I am eager to embark on this journey with all of you.
-Mike

We have to ask first!!!!

We have to ask first!!!!
Indeed.

Dear Santa: want to guarantee reelection?

Negotiate pay now and don’t put it off until the next contract. You talked about pay now put actions to those words. You and the administrator need a deep bench and now is the time to reignite the workforce that has been showing up and continue to do so.
First mistake would be to even think about letting OJT pay go back to 10% in the future.

SUUN brothers snd sisters, SUUN.

Santa know the best way to reelection is to wholly embrace RAZE WEN MVMNT and deliver us from poverty. Just like Jesus turned water into wine, expect Santa and Whitaker to turn the ramen that most level 12’ers are eating into a dry aged ribeye.

Now that the FCT simps have quieted down this thread returns to the important discussions surrounding RAZE WEN MVMNT:

RAZE WEN?

RAZE HAU?

RAZE NAU!

RAZE SUUN

Don’t worry. Mick is simping for him in every regional update now!

The other thing that President Santa made as one of his big “Day 1 Priorities” was to reinvest into the membership. This is how NATCA’s first ever Activism and Training Expo (ATX) came to fruition. Every class NATCA offers was broken down into modules as well as A114 reps doing classes and presentations on their specialties. Rich brought this idea to the board on Rich’s very first meeting, and in one year’s time, we had our first ever ATX. While we still have a ways to go on being fiscally efficient as a union, these types of savings and reinvesting into our membership is a great first step.

Never mind the quarter million to Rinaldi consulting, we are fiscally responsible starting now. I didn’t give a flying fuck how NATCA spent our money when raises came in and things were good. Too bad the day one priority wasn’t getting us a raise.

P.S. someone teach Mick to use ChatGPT, he could sound so much better.
