Don’t worry. I’m still running for President. Nominations open in January and I’ll be there.
In the mean time I am keeping busy requesting financial info that the NATCA Vice president won’t give me and asking questions about how our emails were given out, 😂 though the general counsel hasn’t returned my snail mail.
I have no experience whatsoever in the upper legislative echelon of NATCA. So let’s get that out of the way here and now. I also quit giving to the PAC after I watched a bunch of shenanigans going on. So there is that.
However, I am a controller who works regular shifts each week including the rattler, has transferred under ncept and before ncept, and been part of an 804 and am a current OJTI. I am not on any article 114 details either. I doubt you will find any other candidate who is more in touch with what the average controller goes through.
I also still train, (in fact I was on Mick’s wife training team for a while before she went back to the tower) have been on the boards over 21 years at 3 facility’s (ZNY, ZDV and A90), and work 6 days a week a lot. Though it’s my fault currently since I am on the ‘yes’ list this year.
I promise much more transparency into our finance (I.e. Rinaldi consulting and all the other NATCA loser grifts), to cut costs on stupid wasteful shit (looking at you NEB meetings in Hawaii), put money back where it belongs (fighting for better contracts and giving back to facilities) and to do what every other candidate promises which is literally Article 1 section 2 of the constitution :
to preserve promote and improve the working conditions of air traffic controllers and other aviation safety related employees. (I.e. raze nau)
You will get all of one video from me when the time comes. And that’s it. I’m only running to give people a choice if they want someone not in the typical NATCA sense. I am close enough to retirement at my last facility that I don’t give a shit if I piss people off. You have all been warned.
