damn its almost like collaboration fucks us.Great post. This is probably the most detrimental in regards to abacus. I have no inside info but I feel like the only reason the union hasn’t sued the agency for 10 figures for defunding abacus 11 times is because it’s collaborative. And maybe because they’ve been overpaying the midwestern Zs for 10 years
Removing someone from the ERR process if they turn down a transfer is not punitive, it is a rule that would bolster the transfer system and prevent people from flooding the system with hail-mary transfer requests.I agree but it’s a very very dicey proposition for a union to advocate for punitive measures against its own BU.
Now the reason I agree with you because it would also be protecting its BU from itself. Kicking ourselves in the teeth is a mastered art at this point.
They’ll never truly prevent declinations from harming others but id like to see some kind of shit on the wall.
And yet I’m still stuck at my first faa facility.Today’s trainees haven’t even heard of stuckmic. Feel old yet

Home is worse. Can't two things be badNo one is forcing you to stay. If the pay is so bad and you’re far away from home why do you stay?
How dare you say something like that to these snowflakesNo one is forcing you to stay. If the pay is so bad and you’re far away from home why do you stay?
You're a dorkHow dare you say something like that to these snowflakes
Next generation is full of whiners making 150k plus a year. Complaining about working 48 fucking hours a weekHow dare you say something like that to these snowflakes
They’re complaining that the last generation made 150k also when the houses were 1/3 as muchNext generation is full of whiners making 150k plus a year. Complaining about working 48 fucking hours a week

If you want to compare overtime vs overtime then yea they made 150k back then and people now are making 300 plus with overtime and training etc. They’re complaining that the last generation made 150k also when the houses were 1/3 as much
bro most people aren’t making anywhere close to 300k. And I’m so sick of being trying to add training pay when the not even available to everyoneIf you want to compare overtime vs overtime then yea they made 150k back then and people now are making 300 plus with overtime and training etc.
It was never easy to buy a house, takes patience and commitment. Neither of which young kids have these days. Their loss
Bro it's easy just pull yourself up on your strap on or whatever nothanks says.bro most people aren’t making anywhere close to 300k. And I’m so sick of being trying to add training pay when the not even available to everyone
I’d train every minute if they let me but I can’t just create people to train 🙃Bro it's easy just pull yourself up on your strap on or whatever nothanks says.
No one was working the same type of OT as controllers are today. If you want to compare overtime vs overtime then yea they made 150k back then and people now are making 300 plus with overtime and training etc.

Yes we are all aware. I don’t need to be told for the 1000th timeNo one was working the same type of OT as controllers are today.
Also not the biggest fan of using home prices as a comparison because some generations had low prices but insane rates and others have had insane prices and low rates, but currently we're at high prices and somewhat high rates. The better comparison is purchasing power of the dollar and how much the currency is inflated compared to how much we make currently. We are about 30% + behind where we need to be with where controllers that are currently retiring were at when they started.
Well you don't need to argue it and tell all the younger controllers they are weak for wanting what the rest of the older controllers were able to get. Stop being denseYes we are all aware. I don’t need to be told for the 1000th time
You tell us the same Nick Daniel’s talking points 1000 times what’s the differenceYes we are all aware. I don’t need to be told for the 1000th time
