LOL elections over and this guy thinks the democratic party apparatus still cares about the American public.

You'll notice the new "bipartisan, bicameral" covid bill is mostly another big business cash grab thats much more in line with what the gop wanted than the dems said they did.

Interesting timing on that cave in, wouldn't you say?

Pelosi knows exactly what her people need, and it’s not cash now to help with bills. It’s a little more cash in 6 months!

yah the party that passed a bill in may is the bad one. Keep coping

Well the new bill is basically no one needs any of that at all, unless its big business or a couple hundred bucks extra to unemployment for a few more months.

Ya they backed a bill before an election, and now afterwards have changed thier tune on what's acceptable to them for a new bill.

I'm saying they both are failing, and that the dems story on being hard-line on a strong relief bill changed pretty quickly once the election was over, not that the gop is somehow doing better, you partisan hack.

I am partisan. Is that supposed to be a burn?

Nope. Just pointing out your inability to see past politics as a team sport in which both teams suck and neither gives a shit about the citizenry so long as they get to keep thier power and privilege.

Now go grab your pom poms and keep cheering while nothing is done you fuckwit. (that was a burn)

Imagine the mental gymnastics required to think a stimulus/funding bill with the entirety of Democrat wishlist funding on it wasn't a partisan hack job to make Republicans look bad.

Congress as a whole functions only with bipartisan collaboration, neither side is willing to collaborate. In fact it has been growing steadily worse since the fall of the USSR.

Being a partisan supporter for either side requires significant amounts of ignorance and ill will towards all of mankind.

Markets are doing well, if you dont have money in the bank it might be time for some of you to get a general TSP loan incase any shady stuff goes down.

Take a CARES Act withdrawal (up to $100K), open an IRA and a ROTH. Once the threat of a shutdown is over, redeposit the money into the TSP or IRA (at no penalty, in a lump sum or payments). If you decide to back door it into a ROTH, take the tax hit over three years, by contributing to the IRA then converting to a ROTH.

Anyone have any speculation on what's going to happen to those who are on EA/zoom training should the gov shut down? I have A-side at a Z, but that's it. NATCA rep has no clue what will happen.
