Trump Proposes 10% Cap On Credit Card Interest

You guys just post stuff in bad faith all day then when your have nothing left you say both sides are the same. It’s the same tired arguments over and over without anything real

Would you support DJT if he truthfully supported the majority of policy points you agree with?

sure why not? Would you support Kamala if she supported all the policy points you agree with?

I’m surprised you said that. Well, how about that… And yes, I would support her if she stood for the policy I like. That is assuming both of us could get over the logical issue of each candidate reversing their stances, but this is just a thought exercise. Well, I’m glad you actually admit that because I was fully assuming that your hatred for that man would not allow you to ever support him no matter what.

The whole politicians can’t change any of their positions is bullshit anyways. It makes no sense. Don’t you want your candidates changing to represent what the population wants?

Trump did good things that Biden got credit/hate for. I also think he's a conman. Both can be true

Your option is to vote for the Dems, who use progressive talk and follow up on none of it, but at least want to legalize abortion, not take away gay marriage, and aren't a party of religious people who are trying to put their beliefs into everyone's lives. Don't get me wrong the Democrats are not a progressive party. It's a liberal party, and it's why Bernie wasn't allowed to be the nominee. But to act like any person with those progressive beliefs would turn to Republicans for their answers is laughable.
And meanwhile in 7 states, LGBTQ+ inclusion history is being taught in schools to kids as early as kindergarten. Medical terms for "man" and "woman", "father" and "mother" are being changed for other terms to not offend the 1% of the population. Yet who are the ones pushing their beliefs into all of our lives?

The religion argument is old when it's done a complete 180 and I can't even send my kid to a school and trust that teachers will not indoctrinate them into thinking they aren't the gender they're born.

I'm pro choice but there also has to be a line when it's allowed. Using it as a form of birth control is immoral when there are so many other options out there.

The history of lgbtq+ whatever isn’t a belief lol. Idk about changing the name for mom and dad that’s a little sus.

LOLOLOLOLOL.

Dude… first of all… just wow. There are people from every stance that try to interject their beliefs into others’ lives.

I’ll speak for myself as a conservative minded religious person. People are free to live their lives as they please as long as their way of living doesn’t infringe upon the freedoms and rights of other people. Of course there are contentious areas around this (abortion for example) where liberal thinkers believe pro life is infringing upon the “right to choose” and conservative thinkers believe you are infringing upon the baby’s right to life (existence).

Long story short, it’s not black and white, but the conservative religious types like myself only find ourselves obligated to step and and “interject” when somebody else’s’ actions go against morality. Where does that morality come from? A higher power.. God. It is objective and as “true” and “false.”

For non religious people, where does your morality come from? How does one determine right and wrong? The scary thing is, it appears to be subjective. Thats a very dangerous thing. If you’re willing to assert that morality doesn’t come from a higher power, then it comes from humans. And that makes it subjective. Who are you to tell somebody who believes rape is ok that they are morally wrong? It’s subjective so there is no such thing as a definable right and wrong without morality coming from God.

I don't need God to tell me that raping and killing people aren't okay. I think it's scarier people can believe something without proof. The Bible even says leave government's to govern and to just follow your religion in your home and place or worship. There's a reason why under God wasn't added to the pledge until the 60s. America has always and should always be a secular nation.

I'm still waiting for you to say that you fell for propaganda about Haitians eating cats and that you should maybe look into things instead of just believing whatever you hear

Honestly I don't know if it's true or not anymore but I definitely did look into it before & after my statement. I heard about that claim before it was even mentioned in the debate, about a week or two before actually. Some evidence that I believed to be true ended up being false so I do admit that. But there are locals speaking out about it still and stating that before the debate, the local news was reporting on it and now it's just been wiped off from the internet.

So it might be claimed to be false for now, but I think we're lied to a lot more than people actually realize. I genuinely do not trust the government anymore, ironic since I work for the government, and I especially don't trust the bigger news sources.

Have you ever noticed how over decades they recycle the same things over and over again. They used to accuse Asian immigrants of serving cats and dogs. They called Kerry a flip flopper it’s just like the same things over and over again.

So you never answered the big question. Where does your sense of morality come from? How does one know what is right and wrong?

How gullible do you have to be to buy this shit?

Gullible, but not as gullible as believing 2020 was stolen.

Would you support DJT if he truthfully supported the majority of policy points you agree with?
No. Prior to the 2020 election, my answer would've been yes. In fact in 2016 (while I didn't vote), I was definately critical of the libs for their whining about him when he won.

But he literally tried to subvert the will of the people. If Kamala was proposing an attempt to outlaw gay marriage, I'd still be on her side.

Now if she or her campaign were colluding with foreign governments or talking about her plans as dictator, then we could go back to talking about Trump as an option and do policy comparisons.

From my own values, thankfully it doesn't matter what someone's morals are when there are laws

Yikes. So you admit that morality is subjective (“from my own values”).. why should everyone be subject to your personal interpretation of right vs wrong?

And again….yikes….”thankfully it doesn't matter what someone's morals are when there are laws” > you just made the argument for slavery. Slavery was legal before the 13th amendment for over 200 years. Apparently it doesn’t matter what morality says though because laws can tell us what’s right and what’s wrong. 😳

Or maybe there is such thing as an objective right and wrong and it doesn’t come from personal interpretation or man made laws. Just maybe.

The Bible says slavery is just and so is some murder what's your point.
