Hiring Bid FAA-ATO-20-ALLSRCE-65607

you aren't the only one ha!
they didn't even notify me about it. i decided to ask 2 months later. everyone should ask and not think or expect something. could have accomplished many things during that time frame of waiting. On the bright side, I can now focus on my current job until then. Lol
Have they contacted you about it or what you have to do? I know you have to go get evaluated by a psychologist, but what do they do and how long does THAT process take?

Refer to the tier 2 thread: MMPI-2 Tier 2 Process

Since you have the time, you might as well read through all the pages in that thread. The expectation is that the process could make you wait for an average of 2 years based on timelines from prior tier-2 applicants. There's nothing you can do but wait and no amount of pestering/emailing the medical POC can speed up the process. Not to give you false hope, but my tier-2 timeline only took around 3-4 months to resolve after I was officially notified.

all they said was to be very patient.
It has been about 3 months now since taking the mmpi, but only got notified when asking in early march, so not sure when the process of waiting time actually starts. i'm expecting in 3 months from now to hear something about the next steps. my guess from others is minimum 6 months to get through it all and for some reason it takes others up to year or more. but id assume the longer wait time has something to do with more than just a flagged mmpi eventually. It's only taken about 4 attempts (4) years of trying to get in, so another 6 months or whatever the wait is can't be that bad lol.

Ive been welcomed already lol. I dont mean to get to personal with your situation, but did you have any prior background issues that flagged you for tier 2 or was it something like response distortion?

No priors, contradictory responses to the questions on the MMPI flagged me. Honestly, each person's parameters for failing the MMPI will always be unique and cannot be compared apples/apples, regardless if you had any/no prior background issues. When you sit down for the psychological evaluation, the psychologist will provide the reason(s)/questions that caused you to fail.

Thats what I was thinking too about being flagged for a minor thing. I dont have any drug issues, criminal BG or psychological disorder. Just another waiting game now.

Ohhh okay that makes a lot more sense, thank you a ton!

Welp, I just found out I'm pregnant. Can't wait for all the inevitable bullshit this will cause with my academy dates and training ?
I asked my HR agent about class dates last week, and was told to expect to hear in May about a July-early September date (I cleared Feb 11th). I think that'll put graduation sometime between October and December? Im sure that'll conflict with my Dec. 1st due date lol

Congrats!!

I can hardly believe it, but I was finally contacted for a start date! Starting June 24, I'll be...en route...to begin my career with the FAA. Now I can only hope that nothing horribly terrible happens between now and then.
Do you know when you got cleared?

like someone mentioned earlier, I think it all depends on the rep. some have been cleared sinc Jan and still nothing. I have LM and she's never even replied to any of my emails. the number on her contact info isn't even a direct number to her lol its the number to the center lol

hey that’s awesome . I wa waiting to see if anyone was gonna start getting enroute . I work Terminal right now so I’m conflicted between wanting that to use my experience or work enroute .

I've seen a lot of people lately getting estimates of class dates, so I dug through old posts to compile them all. It also seems multiple people were told to expect July+ class dates in May. Hopefully this'll give some of us a time frame!
