Go to the KSN2 NCEPT page list linked from this post. Scroll down the KSN page until you see the table that MJ has a screenshot of on the post. The screenshot is cut off but if you go farther down the KSN page you'll see the names of the NCEPT HR points-of-contact for each region. Use Outlook to pull up their FAA email address based on their name.

They had an MOU specifically saying the confirmation that they received your ERR could be emailed instead of snail-mailed, I don't think it affected sending the ERRs in. But I've sent in paperwork to three different regions and all three accepted my email without complaint.
Does that need to be done from an faa computer?

Are you allowed to put in prior military facility experience on the 3330-43-1 under Facility Complexity Levels?
MJ, you seem pretty well educated on the ERR process so I trust that you are correct about military time not being applicable to the 3330-43-1; but how did you determine that this is the case?

I just submitted an ERR and included my military, contract tower, and FAA experience in determining the point total for Factor 1. For my military time I used the GS level of my civilian counterparts at my old facility and listed my contract tower experience as GS-10 (I checked OPM and understood GS-10 to be the lowest grade assigned to a fully certified terminal controller).

I also calculated my score for Factor 1 by adding together all the numbers in the "Value" column, rather choosing the highest single number from that column. I'm now thinking that was an error.

Having said all that, I received an email confirming my ERR has been successfully filed. With all the mistakes I've apparently made, is there still a chance that my ERR gets tossed? Has anyone else on here made these types of mistakes and still successfully transferred via ERR?

Bro, points don’t mean shit when it comes to ERR’s. Unless you’re trying impress an ATM for a supervisor position, don’t bother with the point system.

If you’re hellbent on having your past experience looked at with your ERR packet, include it within the resume portion. Otherwise, it’s all a numbers game, with a ton of luck needed, to possibly get to where you’re aiming.

Points genuinely don't matter; like they're not a component to the selection process? I've seen a few comments on here saying as much, but I kinda thought they were jokes.

Points do not mean a thing when it comes to ERR paperwork, whether for NCEPT purposes or for a hardship. Unless you’re applying to a supervisor position, it’s useless to waste time with the calculations involved with the point system.

NCEPT is a lottery system. Instead of wasting your time with adding up your points for your paperwork, read some of the (many) threads about NCEPT.

In your initial post, you were concerned about your paperwork being correct once submitted to the regional HR department. HR will inform you via email if anything is either missing or filled incorrectly. I know this from experience.

That whole form should be scrapped for ERRs. It’s not a competitive system, it’s a request for relocation. They do not have to justify any selections. It means jack shit. When you apply for TMU or a Sup gig then they start to matter more.

Cool. Thanks guys.

I think this was the first thread I found here, when we were looking to move and completely lost as to the new process. No one at her facility knew anything at all - which actually worked to our advantage - and you all laid it all out brilliantly. The info in this thread and others at the time got us exactly the right distance from home on her first panel after CPC, and we chose a date that allowed some of her colleagues to get home too.

The past year has been tough - it's no fun realizing you're going to be back to zero certs *three years* after transfer - but it was made infinitely easier with higher pay and not having to fret about trying to get home after all this shakes out predictably.

I hadn't come around in a long time - no need - and since the plague I've been thinking of it more as a vent zone than any real source of info. That's not true, we owe you all a lot. Many thanks.

Question: where did the fax numbers go in the HR Directory. Most of them only have phone numbers. Looking for Southern Region fax number.

Trying to get all the forms filled out. The FAA form 3330-42 is cut off when I open it and I cant see the right side. This is the third computer I've tried it on. I've also tried to find it online, but no luck. The FAA website doesn't even have it. Do we still need to fill that out?

I'm trying to look up Louisiana and on the regions map it falls under Southwest region but on the HR POC chart it shows under Southern region (under Houston Center). Anyone have an idea who I address in the cover letter and which region to send the package to? Thanks

Anyone have a phone number that actually gets answered for the Southern Region HR? I've been trying to get them on the phone with no success. Any Help will be appreciated. ??
