So what facility do I need to put paperwork in for after they leave? Maybe then NCEPT will be fixed it all comes full circle

I’m sure you can put into ANY facility as most will be understaffed ?

According to bureau of labor statistics say around 24,000k but I believe this is strictly atc not including contractors, like saic etc

Current Cpc/dev/cpc-it around 14k. It’s on the ppt. If 1 percent of the workforce fires/quits. I’ll be shocked.

Name 1 other job they will find and still live the lifestyle they have grown accustomed to.

I’ll take that bet. If we lose 1-2% at my facility I’d be surprised.

Maybe if you are eligible to retire, but not a lot of people have a subsequent skill set to quit our job and get a comparable 150k+ a year job with decent benefits right out the gate.

Also, a lot of these people are the primary breadwinner for their family at larger higher paying facilities.

Now maybe at a 50/60k a year facility, I could see it going up to 10% leaving, but those facilities still don’t have the numbers to make it rain losses that would cripple the NAS.

I think it’s harder for someone a couple years away from retirement to quit over it giving up a pension and health insurance…. But everyone has their line in the sand.

I can’t wait to see how it plays out. If I am wrong I’ll eat crow, but I doubt it will happen.

You can already see places in the private sector that have mandated. United is up to 97%

Yeah If half the controllers at BFE tower left the agency no one would notice or care.

They Probably won’t but those same people are willing to give up that lifestyle to not get the jab. Body>house, car, golf etc

I’d bet that out of CPCs that aren’t eligible to retire 20 max will take the axe. I don’t count new trainees because they aren’t really living this lifestyle yet

I’m not basing it on how many controllers are there there could be 10,000 15,000 100,000 who cares but if they’re expecting 6000 to currently be unvaccinated NOW then at least 2000 quitting/getting fired wouldn’t surprise me.

There have been a lot of places that have already been through this (hospital systems, airlines, etc) and the the mandates have been successful in getting people jabbed. The amount of people quitting or getting fired is below 5% in all theses cases.
