It’s so hard to predict how the FAA hires people. Looking at the 2019 bid and how frustrating that was. I was in that pool 1 hiring group and had qualified but this time I used
job test prep and atc prep to get ready for 3 months every day. I remember the first two times I did the atsa I didn’t feel relaxed or confident. I always was second guessing myself with the previous tests. I also felt dizzy after all the mind bending before.
According to the job test prep software, the personality test is one of the areas you can go in and be prepared to show them what an ideal candidate is.
This time, I felt like it was a practice test but with a little more nerves involved. I had 5-7 collisions, but I kept driving on like it was no problem. Go in knowing you are human and mistakes happen. Looking back, I am just happy to get another opportunity.
At this point in my life, I have another government job, pulling in 6 figures. If I don’t get this I’ll be more than ok. I have over $112k invested in the S&P 500 (C fund) and Dow (S fund). This will just be icing on the cake.
