F11 didn't make that? I'm pretty surprised tbhSo far this year, the top 10 TRACONs in ops are SCT, N90, NCT, PCT, D10, MIA, A80, C90, D01 and I90.

DFW has a 30NM Bravo. The fuck outta hereYeah and D10 has like... 20% of the airspace as those consolidated TRACONs? With what, like 60 controllers? Fuuuuuuck that
We call this the self suckDFW has a 30NM Bravo. The fuck outta here

Can you imagine being able to turn departures immediately on either flow? Life changingAnd it goes up to 11,000’. That must be glorious.
Yeah about 10,000 AGL that’s about par for the course for a B
You should know nothing is normal in NY lolMine only goes to 7,000.
I don't work at D10, I work at one of those "busier" TRACONs with 6-10x the airspace. Hell we might be coworkers. Consolidated numbers are a fucking scam and you know itDFW has a 30NM Bravo. The fuck outta here
As long as everyone still has to work arrivals for the main airport theirs no scam. Either way, all the super TRACONs would still be 12s without consolidation.I don't work at D10, I work at one of those "busier" TRACONs with 6-10x the airspace. Hell we might be coworkers. Fragile egos all up in hereAs long as everyone still has to work arrivals for the main airport theirs no scam. Either way, all the super TRACONs would still be 12s without consolidation.
All the Texas people out here seriously pretending their east and west sides are equal.Fragile egos all up in here
You might want to look into the consolidated tracons. They literally have departures only areas and you never work arrivals. As long as everyone still has to work arrivals for the main airport theirs no scam.

Woah how would they scam thenIt's impressive that there are controllers that can work the entirety of ORD, MDW, and all the satellites, while there are controllers at consolidated TRACONs that work lvl 5 traffic with fat staffing. Both with lvl12 pay.
I guess a dumb question would be why isn't their more cross training? For example at N90 why not require ISP controllers to be trained on a few LGA, EWR, or JFK positions? Seems like it would be more fair/balanced and would make staffing a bit more robust as well. Even being able to add an extra CPC on departures in a pinch could free up another better CPC to work more difficult arrival positions in a pinch.
Can I get the info on what tracon's and area these are so I can hardship there? It's impressive that there are controllers that can work the entirety of ORD, MDW, and all the satellites, while there are controllers at consolidated TRACONs that work lvl 5 traffic with fat staffing.
