You're confusing equality with equity. The fact is you've had privileges others don't get for simply being (and I'm assuming) a white male. No, you're not some billionaire, and there's are pieces of the system that don't work well for you, but they work EVEN LESS WELL for POC and other marginalized groups. All 50 states in the nation provided ballots to voters that had the names of BOTH the nominee for president and the nominee for vice president for each party represented. No, the VP is not an “appointed” position.

And creating a newer, more high quality wave of agents doesn’t require some de facto litmus test, you just have to change the way they’re trained and the standards they’re held to. But these days, pretty much all federal law enforcement do this to the point where they’re just cronies out to get people, and that’s why nobody trusts/likes them.
