Fatigue MOU application

Hahaha. Yeah, that’s the spirit. Fight!

Next act surprised when people leave and we start cutting in to those 10 million in savings we have in the bank. Then blame the minority that left.

Gaslight everyone in 2029 when we extend again!

Wash, rinse, repeat till there is nothing left!

How did I gaslight anyone? Are you saying what I said isn't true? Did the union not provide many emails and telecons?

Once again, you guys want to blame others for your failings. How about you choose an actual platform other than "Im a controller" when you run next time since that did nothing.

😂 I don’t blame anyone but myself for my loss. I never have. I lost because I was not the best candidate. So that’s pretty funny honestly.

It’s also funny because my platform still got half the votes of either other candidate. So I guess I only needed to do a bit more. 😂 Rich even said to me once, you got 10% an email, not bad.

I guess I could claim racism or something since I lost, maybe protected class since I am old. Maybe I should have promised things that I wouldn’t deliver on. JDATC2027! Everyone gets a Pony!

That said, the union does put out lots of things. Even you admitted too much stuff goes out.

Also sometimes telecons aren’t easy attend due to other life events and work, and “shockingly” some reps don’t disseminate information well.

And while we are now in a culture of not taking responsibility, we are also now in a culture of taking the I got mine, if you didn’t it’s your fault approach. Not that there could Ever be other failings.

But don’t cry for me, I got mine. Now should I nap before my 3rd 10hr fatigue mid. Decisions, decisions.

Im curious how other facilities are handling the new OT/fatigue guidelines. We have 2 options. "Limited", which is our old no list, and we have all bid to have every 3rd week protected, regardless of whether we worked OT the last 2 weeks or not. Then we have the Yes list, which waives the right to have the 3rd week off. There is no in between.

I was told that having every 3rd week blocked off no matter what was a regional/national negotiation, but I would be surprised if the agency was ok with that...
We have four options yes and no limited and yes, and no available

Since you brought it up, what would you blame them for? Be honest now.

Most of my complaints are with NATCA at a national level. Locally I've had good facreps but I know some places don't.

NCEPT needs changing obviously. All the supervisor waivers to bypass NCEPT rules should have stopped but I doubt NATCA can do anything for it. Certain facilities will never pick everyone up that has applications in but that's a hard pill to swallow for some. A lot of different options to improve NCEPT from what it currently is.

NTI - one size fits all doesn't work well. Benefited management. Hurt CPCs.

Contract - I wanted to renegotiate. A lot of room for improvement. I understand why they extended, but it's a bad precedent and it makes me wonder why anyone donates to the PAC (I stopped my contributions because I don't agree with the above items).

Spending - A lot of frivolous spending and not enough dues money coming back to the local.

Not taking personal responsibility is the problem. Blaming others when you and other chose not to read, chose not to ask questions, chose not to join the many telecons. Blaming the union for not passing the info lol. Blaming the union for extending when the MAJORITY who actually took the few minutes to vote voted this dipshit president in and you still have his defenders on here.

But yeah it's the unions fault you guys are incompetent and lazy.

NATCA can be blamed for a lot of things but they did their part with the fatigue MOU. If anything they spammed my e-mail too much about it.
Joining what telcons? Do you think random members are invited to telecons? we were invited to one and you could see people had a lot of questions cus they never get answers

I'm pretty sure he's not talking about random members. Every FacRep and ATM got plenty of emails and information on the changes (including telcons and implementation guides and FAQs). Now once it got to the local level, that's all on the FacRep and ATM to make sure the local facility knows what the hell is going on. At my facility, the implementation guide and FAQs were email out, printed out and left out/posted up for everyone to read and ask questions if they had some (plenty did). Even with that, I guarantee there are some people that are completely lost but that's not on us. Only thing else that could have been done was to pull everyone aside individually to give them a briefing individually and answering their questions but that's just not realistic in most facilities anymore. If you didn't get ANY information though on anything, you can't really blame the National Office on it or the RVPs. The information was sent out (I personally saw more than 20 emails from our RVP on it in just a week or so) so talk to your FacRep and ask WTF happened that you didn't tell us anything...

After a slap in the face (no thanks to throw hands this time) with a contract extension, our union will show just how weak they are if these pass. Honestly if they don’t pass I expect it to be because of other federal unions standing up, not ours.

Immediate pay cut for the older controllers that would pay more into FERS and retirement for everyone is getting screwed.

Buddy, you have been in the agency less than 5 years. Just shut the fuck up already.
