CPC reinstatements

Someone has to work at these facilities right? I’m pretty sure the agency wants to consolidate a lot of places, that should help.
That's debatable. I think low level radar facilities are better off consolidated and some towers level 4 and 5s shouldnt even have controllers there. There are contract towers pumping out way more numbers then these faa towers for absolute dog shit pay which is infuriating for everyone.

Should the contract towers be faa ? Is that what people are mad about ?
 
What are the age requirements with reinstatement? Do you still have to be under 35 like prior experience or does it have something to do with how much time you had already worked in the FAA?

Once you are hired onto a 2152 position, whether it's DOD or FAA, your age is locked in and you can return even if you're past 35.

You just need to able to have 20 years of civilian federal service by age 56. If you had 10 years of service from age 25-35, then left for 10 years, you could still come back at age 45.
