I have never heard someone sounds like this in any scenario. Drugs, alcohol, stroke or the crying sound around 14 min when she says she is choking a little bit. I have empathy for people getting tired from a tough schedule to an extent. We are highly compensated for working crazy schedules and the responsibilities we take on. The pilots lives are in her hands and they even asked if anyone else was up there multiple times. Then one guy said be careful out there and she responded thank you!

A real life example of what that must look like from the outside.
Drinking otj, seizure, or maybe a carbon monoxide leak they were fighting. Or a colleague slipping a mickey in their red bull, or hitting them with a tranquilizer dart. Or Russian meddling. Or...

this was a ticking time bomb, the 'fix' is inadequate, & its when not if it will happen again. solo mids are dangerous. the bureaucracy is incapacitated!

Just got into work. Heard she got fired and she’s banned from all FAA facilities they sent her picture and everything to security.

We have a former trooper working with us now. Vodka doesn't leave a smell if she had just started drinking. But getting to a .32 in an hour was it? That takes some work. I'm rather dissapointed if that rumor turned out to be true. Whoever she releaved was ready to go, maybe she hid it better? Either way, what a fail. If anything I was in hopes it was a pill. Easier to conceal etc. Obviously we don't know the story, but eyes should be on who she releaved and her mid buddy, if, rumors turn out to be true.

Well technically alcohol poisoning is medical

A true alcoholic can drink a TON of alcohol in a short amount of time. People bring backpacks to work here (reading materials, pillow, blanket, etc.). So it would be easy to conceal an entire bottle of liquor. What’s her mid buddy have to do with it? The supervisor probably said, “...hey John, so and so is working first (chick), I’m getting pro time between 2-4, so be back up here at 4 to relieve me...”
