MMPI-2 Tier 2 Process

Same. I completed my appointments and paperwork before a friend of mine, and he got an e-mail from Hope nearly two weeks after he submitted his stuff. I still haven’t heard from her. I’m not sure there is any rhyme or reason to it... just luck.
Maybe the region matters? I’m in the NE

Just finished my appointment. Had to answer some questions from the first mmpi, then retake it, and 4 other assessments, then explain some answers from the retakes. Doc said it should take her a week or 2 to complete the report and send it to the FAA. I hope I can hear something before fall semester so I dont have to register for classes. GI bill is almost used up

What is the average wait time between completing your T2 appointment and receiving your FOL ?

it is scattered from what I've heard some say 2-3 months and some say 3-6 months so take that for what it is worth. I completed my Tier 2 appointment with my Dr. on 20 March 2019 so I can confirm it has been more than 2 months and if not soon it will be more then 3 months. Ill let yall know when I hear back if I'm next so there is a current timeline/wait time.

Have you redone your drug test or is that only once you get medically cleared?

perfect lol, so anywhere from 2-12 months

All done with my appointment. Spent about an hour going over flagged questions, took the MMPI again and three other tests. He gave me a lunch break after talking with him. I took the tests when I got back from lunch. We chatted for a few mins and he said it'd take about 2 weeks to send in the report. Got there at 11 and left around 3:30, took about 30 mins for lunch.

So, I received an email from Mr. Clayton today.

--Your MMPI-2 results indicate further evaluation is needed, i.e., Tier 2. Before the Tier 2 can be scheduled, the following information is needed:

Military Personnel Records (Request form attached) --

My SF-180 attached is requesting my DD-214 and my entire personnel record from the Air Force. When I took the MMPI, my proctor said he'd only had one person fail, and that the system looks for scores over 10, and mine was an 8. Whatever that means. Yet I just received this email today. So now I'm at the mercy of the Air Force to get my entire record to the FAA, the FAA for an obnoxiously long process to get scheduled and cleared from the Tier 2?

Should I be tracking down someone in San Antonio to make this process go faster and get my records to the FAA faster to begin with? I've seen this Hope person mentioned as the Southeast Region rep, would I be able to contact her if she hasn't e-mailed me yet?

Any advice is greatly appreciated. This hasn't been the best day when I was anticipating a start date within the next month only to get this email when I thought everything was finished.

You cannot contact Hope, well you can but she won't respond so it's pointless to waste your time doing so. Send in the SF-180 and let the process take it's course. Records shouldn't take long to get to Robert but you won't hear when they are received. Give it a couple months then reach out. Or contact the VA or whoever your records request needs to go through and see if they have even been sent yet, then contact Robert to see what is going on. Chances are it will be sitting with the flight surgeon to sign off on then be sent to Hope who eventually contacts you to get you set up with a psych.

How was it as far as going over your original results?

That was quite long. For a bunch I simply misunderstood the wording of the question. For a few others the use of not in the question threw me off and caused me to answer wrong.

I was just asking because I’m in the NE, NJ. Everyone who gets appointments are in the south so I guess we’re behind up here idk.
Yea I thought the same. But then I got an appointment. Now just waiting for them to contact me back. Guess that’s going to be another couple of months.
