Clearly you're dense sense neither of these facilities are even listed, as they aren't comparable. However, that's okay, reading clearly isn't your strong suit.

Here, I'll put something in emojis that is easier for you to understand.

🦍👥️💪

Bro you can bow up on me like your Barry Bonds but IDC cuz I know your just a Double A small titties troll.

Hey you dense fucking cunt
So you want Nick to answer why Mick is no addressing pay directly?

You want Nick to answer what Mick and NATCA is doing?

GulfCharlie is reaching out to Nick and you’ve got a bunch of questions about Micks position.

Not only and Nick and Mick different people, they’re running for different seats.

Who is the dense one?

Uh oh, looks like I might have bruised a couple egos when pointing out there are *gasps* contract towers working more traffic than them 😢 I’ll retreat to my rightful position as the lowest man on the totem pole.

Bold of you to assume they work traffic.

Damn you might be my new favorite person on this site 🤌 crazy FAA counterparts are literally shitting on contract facilities on this thread and at the top level of NATCA. Yall think delta pilots shit on the guys at Mesa airlines or progressively help them and provide support? Wonder who from contract towers is at CFS representing right now (none because they all actually have to work). This thread is so disappointing on so many levels I prey none of you run for a NATCA position if you cant run for everyone or at the very least understand who you represent you don’t belong.

I wouldn’t say in the ballpark of a million dollars in dues from FCT members is “no money” by your calculation. Given the representation we get from NATCA as it stands, I’d argue it’s too damn much.

Not sure if your argument is “fuck contract NATCA controllers” or simply that NATCA doesn’t give a shit about FCT controllers in general. But let’s put it this way, in return for paying my dues I have received:

No TSP/fair retirement matching
Shit medical insurance
Shit leave accrual
No sick days
No locality pay
Dogshit COLA
Shit staffing (shittier than most places)
Little to no breaks/insane ToP
No pension
No elected FCT rep at the bargaining table

So yeah, fuck you and your extra .5x dues paid.

Spitefully,

An FCT facrep who’s been bitching about these things for 5 years now to deaf ears

P.S. Not gonna let it create divide amongst the ranks because frankly, you don’t know what you don’t know and that’s fine. But you gon learn today.

P.P.S. I could be completely misinterpreting your message and if so, I’m an asshole so don’t come at me.
Oof. The downside of privatization. The pro side is being able to strike and actually having leverage.

Hard to sympathize with you contract guys on here crying about contract life when you both could be in the FAA right now but chose not to be. Pretty sure RomeoTangoRT has turned down multiple lists for fun and BDUB left 2 months before 804 cutover happened and his facility became a revolving door, releasing a total of 4 people over 4 ncept panels.

Why are we not acting right now? Biden just gave a speech about the UAW strike saying how they deserve more of the profits. What about us? Amazon, UPS, all the airlines, they make money off our backs. We can't get a tiny cut of that?
I agree with a lot of your post. I will say it is easier for Biden to talk the talk about backing the workers when it is a private company and all they do is go after CEOs about their greed. They blame grocery store CEOs for inflation. They can’t go to the FAA “CEO” because it is one of them and it’s the taxpayer who is funding our pay.

You are on the right path and mindset but it is more difficult than private companies

Dude I get all that, but the govnt can make rules up and print money at any time. Many people have brought up “but we aren’t a private company”. I get that, but if Biden talks about wealth inequality he can just print some money for us or tax Amazon flights (Giant?), UPS, or any of the airlines literally 1% if their profits and that would give us probably more than 100k per controller (which I’m not even asking for).

We have a very important job, it is a job where the stakes are VERY high, and we need quality applicants who can do the job with precision In The future.

Quite simply this job is being ravaged by inflation, it’s no longer a great job, it’s an okay to good paying job. But we also deal with a lot of BS. And shift work is proven to take years off peoples lives, it’s a known carcinogen i believe….

Poof they got us 20% ojti pay out of nowhere. They could also say, poof, here’s a 20% raise for all controllers in the NAS AND we’re taking you off the pay cap.
