My local deleted another coworkers post linking JD’s video saying it counted as them being a volunteer campaigner and by posting on the local Natca page it was infringing on the use of something Natca owned. Saying it was an unfair advantage since the other candidates didn’t have their videos posted by other members. From reading legal documents (29 USC section 401) we can’t find anything supporting this and only that we as members should be open to discuss candidates freely.
The local region election committee rep (also an member at the same local) apparently said that their interpretation of the law was that the locals FB page is Natca run so it’s illegal to post videos about any 1 candidate for members.

Clips just dropped from Rich’s mouth himself indicating that he will extend the contract. This just echoes what Brad Davidson has already said. Rich is manipulative, and will do and say anything he can to get reelected.

Do we know when these clips were recorded? Do all these candidates really know/understand what is at stake here? They can say whatever they want to get elected, but if they extend they’re basically saying they’re ok with a mass exodus of BUE’s and the potential demise of the union.

Every single candidate is going to go for a short term extension if Trump wins. Including Rich Santa and Mick Devine and Justin Dailey. Rich and Mick are lying to you because they think it’ll get them elected and then they’ll create some other lie as to why they shifted. Dailey is not lying but as soon as he gets into office he’ll be briefed by people that actually know what the fuck they’re talking about and he’ll realize it’s actually not possible to win under those rules.
Maybe you think we need a new president

To be fair, Santa said directly on our region town hall he would probably have to extend if there was a trump presidency. I don’t think he’s necessarily shifting his position. Difference being NDJH believe the FAA will just allow us to open in 26 if Trump loses. So they’re more on the extend now train.
That’s the point of the recent posts on this thread. Rich has shifted to extend never because mick has convinced him that they both need to fake extend never and lie about NDJH being extend forever. None of these candidates are extending under Biden and they’re all going to extend under Trump.

He didn’t. He just told us he wasn’t going to do anything and his administration was going to empower and move walls.
I don’t know what this means but it seems like you’ve missed some things. There’s a ton of media out there. They’ve declared to change pay and NCEPT just off the top of my head.

Dinging the guy for not lying is... weird. Rich is a pathological liar. He he no issues lying to the membership, NEB, staff office or FAA, no matter what harm it causes NATCA.
In April the membership started being Poll’d in a few regions that actually care what their membership think after Nick motioned the contract had to be extended. The polls showed overwhelmingly that the members didn’t want an extension. Whether Rich wanted to extend or not he looked at the the overwhelming majority of the members opinion and said ok you want us tonight we’ll fight.
You know who didn’t poll their members and see what they really wanted? Team NDJH. Their narcissism wouldn’t allow them to do it. They said we do not care what you want we’ll do what we want. You know who else didn’t receive a poll, any of the regions who’s RVP weaponized the NEB against our current President because Nick told them not to poll their members.
Rich listened to what the members wanted and was grown up enough to take up that charge. Nick and Jamaal doubled down and went with we are going to hope the FAA agrees to a random MOU for significantly more pay. If it were that easy why didn’t any other federal union president in the past just write MOUs to get all the members significantly more money? Because it won’t work.
Two candidates gave the members a voice and listened to them, that’s Rich and Mick.

Give me a leader that is capable of changing their minds against leaders who are stubborn dictators.

Nick and Jamal literally toured the country for a year to meet with the membership face to face. Your shithole campaign team didn’t do any of that because you know it way easier to lie to everyone in video or with chicken shit filtered QnAs or with anonymous social media. You guys have done more damage to NATCA than management ever could. You’ve forfeited integrity for an election.
