What was your medical background like? Cause I was in the same situation but didn't have to do a PFT. Still have allergies to pollen but asthma hadn't been prevalent since I was a kid.

Current asthma & allergies. Wasn't a big deal, but I had to call a bunch of places to schedule my PFT. Most aren't doing it right now because of COVID.

From what I've gathered, if they hit their allotment of dishing out emails or if there is a covid event at OKC, it puts a stop on stuff for roughly 3-5 weeks.

You can request it, no guarantee they’ll approve it though. There were people in my class that requested several different OCONUS locations. All denied.

I had to do an asthma and allergy questionnaire and get a PFT test done - is JR the medical person you're working with?

I'm working with KM didn't have to do a PFT just the questionaires

I was medically cleared last week, emailed DF and she says security is done as well so just waiting on a class date! She said maybe a fall date

OCONUS terminal locations like SJU are sometimes offered as alternates. It depends on how high up the priority list they are when your selection date rolls around.

This process is funny. You get excited when you get the TOL and then this is followed up with the anxiety of waiting for a CIL. Then this process will continue until you are moved and settled in at your first facility
