Word on the street is that things will continue as normal.
A July/August panel is what I’ve heard, but given that it’s already June and no cutoff date for ERR submission has been set, I would guess August to be the next panel.
This all speculation.

The current system that we are utilizing is the priority placement tool and the mutually agreed upon numbers that are contained in the tool. Those numbers were designed to be temporary in nature. This was the first meeting the group has had in nearly a year, and we are a long way from a finished product.”

FacRep told me today that it was not going to be until November and the supe in the tower at the time claimed he heard that FAA wants only one per year..... so basically everything is 100% speculation and we are all in the dark right now.

I know of ppl who have ERRs in solely as blockers against other peeps within their facility. IE, put in for very high priority place w no intention of ever going. When your facility can only release one or two people, this effectively neuters NCEPT.
NCEPT & its new ruler are Lord Varys (without the cringy YouTube vidz). His little birds disseminate disinformation and whisper falsehoods. A facrep told me this! An RVP told me that! My ATM says this and that. Get the smores ready, we all know wgats coming. In the end it all crashes and burns. Silver lining : Trainwrecks are good for the forums!

There is a lot of truth in there, it's absolutely true that there are people who will block another person. This is a known issue and was ignored when the national powers met to revise NCEPT. The fact that they re-upped NCEPT as is after taking a panel off for review is disturbing, it implies that no changes will be coming now for years, if at all. I don't think the issues will fix themselves or else they would have started to by now, NCEPT is not all that new anymore.
