So the next potential shutdown is upon us for the 384th time, what are the odds this one gets kicked down the road? GOP got embarrassed in the recent elections, will they Albus Dumble-doubledown or play ball or are we looking at months of no pay?

This one will get kicked down the road again with another CR until after the holidays. Then the actual shutdown will occur in early January. As much as these shit-bags would love to see government disfunction, even they know a shutdown just before Thanksgiving would be too much.

Don’t be so sure. The longest shutdown in history started on Dec 22, 2018.

The weird anti porn software with his son guy already asked for a CR from republicans so they can work on their individual bills. Their individual bills will be insane and that’s where the negotiation will start.

One of my buddies start dates keeps getting delayed due to the impending government shutdown. He was supposed to start a few months back. He had a signed FOL and everything, so he left his contract gig to move across the country and start with the FAA. Super great timing I know.

Talk about a crappy situation, do you guys think there is any type of compensation he could get for the extended delays after receiving a formal offer?
