Terminal Class pass rate

How do these lists get compiled? It seems that compared to the placement lists these places are way down there.
Well that one was from December 19th so its probably been taken off since they were selected from

Proof that more time in the sims tremendously increases pass rate...
That's part of it....but the course was validated years ago on 13 days of problems and then 4 graded evaluations at a set complexity and number of operations (all close to the same anyway.) Adding more instruction time goes against the validation, and to be equal the graded problems should be an increased complexity. Although if I'm going down that road, the course has been going against validation the last couple years due to increased point values on a couple errors, and additional items that have been added to possible errors.
The goal of the course has not been to pass the evals, it's been "with this set amount of instruction, these students are adequately prepared to work the graded problems by themselves." If the goal was to pass, all the instructors would be experts on what's in the PAs and exactly what the conflicts are going to be. Not many of the instructors (other than the leads) have ever seen a PA scenario.

Anyway, once we get to the classes that weren't affected by the shutdown, I'm betting we'll continue to see higher pass rates.

TETRA class finished up PAs today and finally had their first real failure.
Lost one student out of something like 13 or 14 total.
Still flying in the tracon supervisors to grade, even though the academy now has their own radar evaluators, still not sure when they'll start grading.
