This is horrible advice to any AG. Bidding 804 voluntary moves is seniority based. I don’t think I need to say more…If you really wanna go to an up/down for some reason find a place like HUF that is losing their approach soon, get your radar experience then transfer when they go tower only. But also don’t go to a place like that cuz it’s shithole indiana.
You still end up as a temporarily fat staffed tower only with half the training time is the point. I’d never recommend an up/down in the first place. But some people wanna work approach no matter what.An AG going to ORF 🤣🤣🤣👌🏻

Shit for real man! I guess I'm happy for the newbies but at the same time I'm salty as fuck knowing there are hella people still stuck at their first facility because it as the best of a bunch of shitty options and there is no sign for them to get out.Can I quit and apply OTS next bid 🤔
It will keep some of the newbies from joining the line (in any order) that you’ve been standing in for yearsShit for real man! Or in other words, they get to skip the line. Good for them, but can we at least acknowledge this is a kick in the teeth to anyone stuck at there first lvl 4-7 facility. AG’s are getting sent to 100% staffed facilities with less than a year training time, meanwhile controllers with 5-10 years in the agency are stuck at their <80% staffed facility. It will keep some of the newbies from joining the line (in any order) that you’ve been standing in for years
True but no one gives a rats ass anymoreUp/downs are the best way to learn fundamentals.
That’s because the FAA has never cared about 4-7 and never will. Y’all quit and they will but another chump in your position for 5yrs until they quit and continuously repeat the cycle. Pretty smart actually then the govt boys don’t have to pay out a pension. 😂Or in other words, they get to skip the line.
