Serious What would happen if AJO and FAA split

What’s the problem? Their leader is actually passionate?
I think that vid’s an extreme example, but teachers unions have been extremely effective over time. A big part is they play the public relations game the right way. “Teachers are underpaid” is a sentiment a lot of people have. That’s not just common knowledge, that’s through the work they’ve done to get the word out. Thanks in part to that, a lot of states and districts across the country have given teachers pretty substantial pay raises over the last few years. That could be us too. Instead of saying “we need to be paying the people teaching our kids more” NATCA could and SHOULD be preaching “we need to pay the people who keep airplanes from smashing into each other more.”

This is the biggest problem people have with NATCA. They never publicly acknowledge that controllers are underpaid, much less advocate for a raise. They could be going on news channels, sitting for interviews with papers, hell when Santa is sitting in front of Congress they could be preaching this. And they are completely silent.

That is why I voted for JD and why we all better hope and pray he wins.

Not disagreeing with you on the natca part. Just saying how the other government entities have been over playing their hand with corruption that is turning the tax payers against them. Then we get grouped in with them with the agendas like Project 2025

Then half the controllers are gonna vote for project 2025

The problem is their leader is a retard

But I would like to see NATCA also argue that we need all the things too 🤷‍♂️

From first hand knowledge of teachers in an area of the country where they are almost the highest paid in the country, they are straight up massively underpaid. So I wouldn't look to a teachers union that has gotten very little for any of its members as an example.

And that video of that crazy "leader" rambling seems par for the course of teachers unions and why they're underpaid. Would still like to see that energy with NATCA to some degree though. This knee pad collaboration is not where it's at

Also agree with the rest you said

Maybe so but the video was her yelling that they need more. So I really don’t see a problem. Collaboration has gotten us jack shit except details for some people who don’t want to work anymore

💯 Agree I just hope our leaders would have more to say than we need 'all the things' 😂 that video was hilarious and not in a good way for that union. But I would like to see that type of energy from NATCA 100%

We’re doomed if anyone anywhere ever listens to 32s ignorance. Preaching anti collaboration reeks of a spoiled brat who’s never had to work with management on behalf of a collective.
