Terminal Class pass rate

Another example is if local hands off the wrong butter bar to ground & ground doesn’t notice
To add: And/or if Ground places the butter bar down on the table instead of in the hands of local. That’s been an issue before.

Ground letting go of the butter bar before local gives ground their initials for crossing complete acknowledgment.

Anything can happen

The only points I lost on ground were because my local controller was going down the tubes and wouldn’t let me cross a vehicle. I asked repeatedly and never got the crossing, so my evaluator docked me 5 points because I was never able to get the vehicle across. ? that guy ended up with a negative score on that round.

For clarification, the lowest score you can receive in the PA's is 0 for those who are new to the process.

My evaluator specifically told me I didn't lose points for that because I made the coordination attempt multiple times and it's on local at that point.

Yeah your evaluator was wrong. As long as you keep asking for a crossing you shouldn’t lose points. I forget the time frame but maybe it was every 5 minutes? But it’s something like as long as you ask every 5 minutes or whatever the time frame is it counts as an attempt. But if you only ask once and don’t ask again then you can get delays

You might want to double check. I know people that scored in the negatives. They failed of course, but the graders gave them a negative score.

You’re right. QA will start their 5 minutes when they see there is an opportunity to cross. Then they’ll dock the points.

If ground only asked for the crossing one time. I can definitely see that being a reason it’s dock points

Even if you had 10 separation errors (16 points a piece), you will get docked for losing 160 points but the final grade would be corrected to 0.
They do still log the lost 160 points though, so if you manage to appeal one of those sep errors and get 16 points back your score would remain 0 not go up to 16.
