How can it be fake? What scammer is gonna know about those 5 issues. Also what is anyone going to get out of having this information? Also it was sent by constant contact.

Depends on what type of scamming a scammer wants to scam. These issues are all over social media. Wouldn't be hard to stir up some discourse from a fake poll...or post. This place has some experience with dat. 😉

My Intel says it's from Santa and Mick though a Redditor says otherwise. But...Intel > Redditor.

I lean toward Santa / Mick’s campaign for a few reasons.

One would be their use of constant contact for all the videos. They have a good amount of knowledge of the service and when they sent out the botched survey link, they corrected it quickly.

Second would be the fact that Mick’s campaign already got caught for the Robillard / Michaud debacle leading to both of his minions being dismissed from their NATCA positions.

The poll email omitted the unit number of the registered address for constant contact obfuscating who actually sent it. This seems right up his alley when you look what happened with them in terms of honesty and transparency.

Lastly, well, only those 2 have managed to consistently send campaign emails to all the members as of late. If Nick and Jamal were holding out, why would they send just a poll out?

This election is going to be legendary!

Edited to add: Someone on Reddit claims that the constant contact address was changed from a PO Box in Maryland (Santa) to the Florida address. Unsure if this is true, it would love if someone had a screenshot!

It didn't come from Nick/Jamaal.

Have you looked at Constant Contacts Pricing?

Depending on the amount of ‘subscribers’ and I use that term loosely, it costs between $210-$325 a month to send 12-24 emails to up to 15k subscribers.

I wonder if Mick and Rich are splitting it?

Maybe they had an extra email left at the end of the month, so it was time to send out some polling ones…

For Funnzies I emailed the survey address and advised them of the following-

….Therefore you are in violation of the FTC CAN-SPAM act, specifically:

(3) a “sender” of commercial e-mail can include an accurately-registered post office box or private mailbox established under United States Postal Service regulations to satisfy the Act’s requirement that a commercial e-mail display a “valid physical postal address”; and (4) a definition of the term “person” was added to clarify that CAN-SPAM’s obligations are not limited to natural persons.

Since now it isn’t in compliance! Just trying to help whoever (coughRichCough) out!

Seriously. The airline unions just got some huge wins as did the car manufacturers. My rent/car insurance/childcare/groceries have all gone up 30% in the past 2 years while pay had gone up maybe 15%. Right now my concerns begin and end with how I’m able to provide for my family. Help isn’t coming anytime soon for staffing so at a bare minimum pay needs to be addressed.

Well like the few of us I watched the last two congressional hearings he was in and they were asking him some layup questions where he could have said something about the pay but didn't.

Just egregious that he has the audacity to send out emails talking about how we are underpaid, but not once brought it up during the hearings where the people who could actually do something about it might want to know why it contributes to the state of decay this profession is in.

How hard would it be to say we think better pay and benefits will help aid in getting More well qualified applicants. Instead of we need a workgroup to come up with ways to come up with more work groups and then we need a confrence.

If this is true it was 100% Santa. It’s another disgraceful act. Remember a Reddit poll from a few months ago that was basically who would you rather vote for Santa, Daniels or Other, and Other won by a huge margin but Daniels was ahead of Santa? Soon after the YouTube video blitz started. Maybe Santa is trying to gauge if it’s having an impact?

Does anyone know if the owners of that survey can see who completed it then though the company which sent it? I would assume so. That wouldn’t discourage me from doing it, I want to get the message out to them, but I’m just curious.

Most likely from my limited research, a solid maybe. A lot of their (constant contact) metrics, such as opening and delivery often rely on a imbedded unique url inage in each email, thus when you open it, it polls the server and they know that [email protected] opened it.

Now as for the survey, maybe it has the same and ties to that in a like manner. Maybe it logs and compares ip addresses from your email and the one you completed the survey from.

This is just conjecture, but if they are willing to use NATCA resources (Michaud / NATCA IT) to dig up dirt on Jamal, why wouldn’t they try and maintain a list of who wouldn’t vote for them.

I’ll put away my tinfoil hat, but, then again, they got nothing on me!

Maybe send them ([email protected]) an email and let them know their physical address is out of compliance. They love to hear from members!
