New NCEPT MOU

Typically it’s negotiated locally, because the contract is vague as to what is required for it. I’ve seen districts push back on same-city transfers, but if you can make an argument that you’re doing something incidental to changing facilities then it should be granted.

Tbf even in the case of the ZTL/A80 transfers, even though they both serve Atlanta airport the facilities are like 45 minutes apart. Depending on where you live you may actually in fact need to move if you don’t want a 2 hour commute.

I 100% may have missed it being said or it being in the MOU, but both the gaining and losing ATMs are being asked in the BUEs selected transfer date is acceptable. Apparently they can file for a deviation to hold somebody.

Given that they are only picking up for high visibility, NAS impacting, core 30 type facilities that need people badly, your manager at bumfuck nowhere is going to have to have one hell of a reason to get them to keep you in place after selection.

The new process has priority releases and a short suspense on your report date and that’s the way they want it. Unless you’re the last CPC there, there’s no way. Even if you were, they would probably tell your manager to go to hell.

The big bottleneck is going to be the academy. Lots of us are going from Z’s or small towers to high level tracons so we all need RTF and TSEW, and for a lot of us, TETRA.

If someone accepts a TOL for a sup somewhere, are their ERRs still valid too? Trying to figure out if one of my coworkers wanting the same place could still get an offer before me for NCEPT.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t be. You don’t leave the BU until the date of your FOL, and can back out any time before that.

Now, will be panel be able to see that you have a TOL for a supe bid? I don’t know. I suppose it would also make a difference between an offer being extended and one being accepted. If someone had a firm release date they might be able to see that, but I would bet (knowing how dysfunctional it can be) that it won’t be spotted until they try to cut the selected person a TOL to find out they already have one.

Does anyone know of anyone selected on the most recent ncept (June) who had yet to put in an application through aviator. They claim all the paper applications were accepted with the new rules but that seems hard to believe that process went smoothly

I can’t find where but yes, the paper errs that were already in by a certain date (maybe the day before aviator event live) were considered valid and used for this panel.

I was picked up and only had paper applications.

Anyone getting the new MOU bonus on this paycheck?
None yet, but I think they said up to 30 days?

They did, maybe they meant 30 business days but 30 days from the new agreement was 3 days ago and there’s no sign of the bonus on this upcoming paycheck.

Edit: looks like 30 days after June 12th is July 12th and the upcoming paycheck is through July 11th. Hopefully that’s why it isn’t on this upcoming paycheck

The panel with the selections was the 25th. That's the start date I would expect if I were told 30 days
