Anybody working in Abu Dhabi in Area at SZC? Was invited to fly over there and take their APC, trying to see if it's worth the time commitment. Specifically interested in morale/staffing, whether it's trending upwards/downwards, and if you have regrets about moving over there.

I know someone who took the APC there, then went to Doha and accepted the job at Doha Center. Absolutely loving life and said he has zero interest in coming back to FAA

As someone who’s “deployed” to Qatar, many a contractor have told me that if you can find a good reason to gain citizenship in Qatar it is amazing. Way too hot for me.
Thanks for the info. Don't think the FAA is coming back from this environment without any drastic changes, and getting funding for drastic changes in this admin is looking unlikely.
