If you want to be outraged, be outraged that Biden is out picketing for UAW while NATCA sits back and is ok without current pay rates, knowing the real priority at hand is to fix pay for the FCT’ers so the boomers on a second career can afford more preparation H.

Apparently the Nick/Jamal camp thinks controller pay is fine and the main focus of their administration will be to increase Article 114 details so that more controllers can be involved in collaboration!

I unsubscribed as soon as I got the first “hey guys I’m running for xxxxxxx” email. Been getting NATCA emails ever since just fine.
 
In Santa's latest video he states "you've heard about our plan and vision to open the CBA at the first opportune time.", I realize some of you are cynical but wouldn't that basically guarantee he loses if he tries to run again if he doesn't re-negotiate the contract after saying something like that?

This is the first time I've actually paid attention to these things and watching the videos. Ive sent in questions which Im sure are the same ones everyone else has. I like that they've mentioned how facilities are overwhelmingly being downgraded rather than upgraded since the traffic complexity formula was made. Curious to see if he touches on how to change the NCEPT program or if they just leave it alone since it's fucked beyond repair with current staffing.
 
By unsubscribing to the email you agreed to be being black balled by the union. You also will never have a chance of getting out of your current facility via any NCEPT panel…🤣

Yes, Santa wants 3 more years by making false promises and everyone saying… “if he doesn’t he is out next election.”

Kicking the can down the road is always the promise of elected positions. Blame the prior party and make promises about the future.

Santa had his chance. He, nor anyone else has actually spoken to what they are gonna do. We need a road forward not “we will pursue more pay.”

That is a crap promise in an of itself. What are any of them going to do? I’d laid out what I would do.

Are we gonna get a 50% raise? 100% raise? 100% overtime?

As it stands right now…. More pay is 1.61% NATCA win!!!!!!


1.61% is a big win for modern NATCA. Last true president we had was Barry Krasner. He had a set on him and was a true brother!

IMO they are currently negotiating pay and it will be addressed before the election. They would never publicly reveal the parameters of those talks, just like there wasnt a peep about the 20% OJTI until there was.

NATCA can say they are going to pursue a XX% raise. How that comes to fruition can be kept behind closed doors. But NATCA likes to sell that bullshit increases are a serious win... when they are in fact not.

an additional 10% for OJTI... If you are making 100$ an hour it is only an additional 7K a year... To do more work. I wonder if UAW for Ford have to pump out an additional 40% more cars for their 40% raise...

nobody thought in 1994 that ATC would have its own pay scale... It is no suprise that people don't think major reform can happen today.

Just because it is a hard fight doesn't mean it shouldn't be fought.

The entire workforce could get a 30% raise today and still be worse off than in 2019 in terms of purchasing power. Protip a 30% raise ain't happening. People are going to be pissed no matter what happens

This is exactly why the members should demand a %... Otherwise NATCA with come out and declare whatever they get as a win

Yeah I don't buy this in the slightest. You use any inflation calculator from 2019 with your salaries back then and a 30% raise now would be way more. Plus you ignore the 8% in annual NATCA raises and 9.9% (11.3% if you start Jan 1) of presidential raises and you're well over that.

One site claimed it was a cumulative price increase of 20.09%. We're at 22.2% of raises since Jan 1, 2019 so we're still ahead. Now our large raise in January will further that.

I think it's a good sign that Biden visited the picket lines of UAW though where theyre demanding 40%. I'm interested to see what happens with UAW. I'm getting higher expectations of what should happen now that we've seen the airline unions get around 30%, UAW asking 40%, and whatever UPS got.
