Several times, Rich has talked about the importance of collaboration or how building relationships with those on Capital Hill is vital to getting things accomplished for our Union. He has said numerous times that our credibility, integrity, and reputation with the Agency is key when it comes to the negotiating table. He used this same idea to justify why they moved forward with the last extension after the presidential election.

The first few times you hear all of this, it sells well and makes sense. But at some point he and his team (NEB and lawyers) has to "cash in". No survey was needed. What needs to be done is pretty straightforward. Take your ass to a negotiating table with the Agency and go to work. There's a list as long as NATCA's payroll of things that can be improved. That is the job and has always been the job. Stop talking and start doing.

Their cash in is becoming a lobbyist or other Washington insider. Someone needs to ask him straight up what rinaldi consulting does in detail

Daniels and Jamal look like unintelligent cowards, I hope I’m wrong, I really do. I hope they launch a nuclear strike this coming week now that allegedly you can officially declare and file for the election now that it’s 2024.

I hope they splice up a video and highlight Santa saying that we have a robust transfer system, and play the clips side by side of Mick in his campaign video saying “we will start CBA negotiations in 2025, at the latest”, immediately followed by Santa in his most recent video saying “we can’t negotiate the contract until 2026”.

I’m worried those two will drop our due to “solidarity” and there will be no election except for if the Boston guy runs.

So we will see, I don’t want this to all die in the wind though, this is an abomination what this union has become and I really hope there is a chance for change.

Gotta to keep the issues simple, pay and staffing. Some bonuses is increase the allocation of local dues, limit A114 to 1 year detail, and reform contract extensions to coincide 1 year before NACTA elections.

Nick and Jamaal aren't dropping out.

I enjoyed this video. Nick and Jamall sound more motivated and in touch with getting back to basic and bargaining first.

Santa and Mick I think are blowing smoke, Santa monotone boring videos are not inspiring what so ever. What has he accomplished? Micks ARVP getting fired.
Santa and Mick not playing by the same rules….that’s not a good start to a campaign.

I think it was a good start, some people love the endorsements, others think it’s a total waste of time but I like what they did with it.

They need to focus to make inroads with the Eastern and Great Lakes regions though. Just like in the US elections Eastern is where the electoral votes are, and Great Lakes is where the battleground areas are. Huge number of controllers in those regions and powerful leaders too.

I don’t think they can win there but they need to lose those regions by as little a margin as possible, then try to clean house on the west coast and deep south to make up the difference and win overall.

Given what's transpired since the last contract negotiations, what makes you sure that the rank and file from those regions will actually support/vote Santa and Mick?
