Yo @breakaway2000 Question...

You said the projected national average is going to be locked at 85% correct?

1. What's your source? I don't remember that in the telecon.

2. If the projected is locked at 85%, that helps facilities being able to release people but it completely changes the amount of gaining facilities. How do they plan on determining the amount of people facilities can gain or are they just going to use the 85% when it pertains the the amount that can be released?

It's on NATCA's NCEPT page.

Facilities can release down to capped 85% projected average (assuming current CPC % will allow it.)

Confirmed with multiple RVPs that facilities can select up to the true projected national average on the first pass, then 100% for 9 and belows on the second pass.

You'll have a number of facilities that can release and receive on the first pass.

Not that I am leaving but can D01 release anyone? We were finally at that magically you can't select it release anyone prior to the 85% thing...

Oh wow! That's actually a really great change. Still not good enough but I guess it's a step in the right direction.

@breakaway2000 is correct. But you guys just lost a CPC if they had done the draft the previous month you could release 1 just FYI. The timing is also an unfortunate erratic obstacle. Maybe if they actually do the panel every 2 months next year that won't be quite as big of a factor.

Mine did as well. Told me on my first day, "this has always been a training facility, get certified and you'll get picked up somewhere you want to go"

That was backed up by the 8 people that had release dates under the old process when I got here. Silly me for believing it

Yep. We had a fair, equitable, albeit lengthy process to move on when I got there. Then ncept happened. They still haven't been able to release a single controller. The first one to leave will very likely be the newest CPC.

Well after questioning what NCEPT had for CPCs at my facility in the PPT, being unable to release, they had screwed up, and ended up manually adding me to the manager ranking lists. We double checked SWB, and it had correct #. Something weird is going on here.

Emails were sent out on 8/9 and 8/17 with the staffing workbook data to your FacRep imploring them to look at the numbers and correct them if they were wrong to avoid the situation you're currently in.
My advice is the same to everyone. I don't care if you're not the FacRep, I don't care if you're not the VP, I don't care if you're not the Secretary, and I don't care if you're not the Treasurer. If you have ERR's out and someone certifies, go into your ATM's office and make sure they update the staffing workbook accordingly. Your career is counting on it.

Is our facility SOL if a trainee certified after Aug. 21st? I read that's the magical cut off date for this next round..

So the priority list (ranking) itself shouldn't change, just the number of gains/losses, correct?
That's what we're waiting on, they pulled the facility ranking list today. I'd imagine it will stay the same/similar, but there is a chance they change the decision lens criteria based on the new rules.

I already got a feeling I'm going to get screwed.

This may have been already addressed... But can 10-12's receive up to CPC target... Or only to natl avg... Saw there is a clause in the SOP that might possibly allow it but only after all ERRs have been gone thru...

10-12 can only receive up to the true projected national average. 9 and below can select up to 100% projected.
