This is the biggest scam ever. When telling people how much we make we need to just say our base pay. Not all the premiums that we earn that don’t count towards any benefitsOT shouldn't be counted towards earnings unless its counted towards our retirement. It's either compensation or not, it's treated like a tip by the agency.
Exactly, we're behind the curve in that aspect compared to other professional trades and its crazy people think its ok.This is the biggest scam ever. When telling people how much we make we need to just say our base pay. Not all the premiums that we earn that don’t count towards any benefits
Who the hell would ever say it’s ok to be behind? I wish someone could show me a federal CBA that has the things we wantExactly, we're behind the curve in that aspect compared to other professional trades and its crazy people think its ok.
VA nurses have Saturday differential. Several agencies have student loan repayments. A good starting point would be getting all the extras that exist in the government.Who the hell would ever say it’s ok to be behind? I wish someone could show me a federal CBA that has the things we want
Anyone have overtime counting towards fers? Seems to something everyone is always up in arms about. Can’t do that without changing fers I would assume, that includes everyone.VA nurses have Saturday differential. Several agencies have student loan repayments. Do other federal employees get assigned the amounts of OT that we do? (Genuine question, I’m curious who in the federal government uses the most OT)Anyone have overtime counting towards fers? No readily available information on who works the most. We have a much stricter scheduling environment than others. The max amount of overtime you can work is 40 hours per pay period. Many firefighters that ive meet have got 100 hours per pay period before.Do other federal employees get assigned the amounts of OT that we do? I just showed you Feds that have things we want and then you just move the goal posts. Saturday diff comes up all the timeAnyone have overtime counting towards fers? Seems to something everyone is always up in arms about. Can’t do that without changing fers I would assume, that includes everyone.
Yeah firefighters OT specifically is way different though because they have to work 24hr shifts so every shift they pick up is 24hrs of OT. On top of that their schedules are wildly different often times their normal schedules have them having half or more of a week off so it's easier to pick up a shift and still have time offNo readily available information on who works the most. Ok I’ll just stick to Saturday pay and not worry about anything else. Good call. Who would want to talk about more than a Saturday dif. MoronI just showed you Feds that have things we want and then you just move the goal posts. Saturday diff comes up all the time

You literally asked a question that he directly answered and you spun it around with more bullshit like you always do. Go fuck yourself.Ok I’ll just stick to Saturday pay and not worry about anything else. Good call. Who would want to talk about more than a Saturday dif. Moron
That’s how you took it. I was talking about getting more than just some peanut Saturday pay.You literally asked a question that he directly answered and you spun it around with more bullshit like you always do. Go fuck yourself.
You asked for examples of shit other CBAs have and I gave you 2 examples. That’s how you took it. I was talking about getting more than just some peanut Saturday pay.
Honestly no one gives a shit what anyone thinks on an anonymous forum always. Not sure why you are so angry lol
While it isn’t overtime specifically, federal law enforcement (1811 positions) that receive Law Enforcement Availability Pay have it count towards their retirement.Anyone have overtime counting towards fers? Nice. I’m asking about other stuff as well. The weekend pay should be an easy thing for us. The loan repayment, I don’t think we’d have a good argument being that you don’t need a degree to get hired. You asked for examples of shit other CBAs have and I gave you 2 examples.
I don’t love that modelWhile it isn’t overtime specifically, federal law enforcement (1811 positions) that receive Law Enforcement Availability Pay have it count towards their retirement.
LEAP is effectively a flat 25% premium applied to their pay in exchange for an additional 25% work hours over the average week (50 hours/week).
That said, LEAP does not allow them to make more than the top of the GS15 band, so eventually their biweekly pay checks get capped. So their earnings that count towards retirement are still limited.
I can vote and I voted against Nick twiceNice. I’m asking about other stuff as well. The weekend pay should be an easy thing for us. The loan repayment, I don’t think we’d have a good argument being that you don’t need a degree to get hired.
Y’all need to simmer the fuck down with your stupid ass attitudes. Half of you can’t even vote on the people that represent you. If you can’t, you are shouting into the abyss
That’s cool, so did a few thousand othersI can vote and I voted against Nick twice
