Pretty sure you cannot be forced into a leave status

In the process of transferring to DOD, no they cannot.

Not sure why an ATM would think they can force you to take any kind of leave. If they want you on leave tell them to give you EA.

Should take the leave and then fight it saying it was forced. Maybe get free leave and then get paid out when you separate!

You won’t get paid out when transferring agencies. Make sure you ask for an SF50 with your leave balances at separation from the FAA. Getting that leave re-credited could be a bitch if HR remains as competent as we know them to be.
