Yea I’d love to except they aren’t really saying what they want. After talking to primary, specialist, and psychologist (all who already supplied documentation), they were like what other supporting documentation do they need? Literally followed cba word for word! Required to moved diagnosis prognosis they put everything anyone would need! But they say well we just need more.Just get more documentation?

Side note I asked why they just don’t call themselves you know to validate or clarify whatever they want just like I give permission for according to article 99 when I submitted my packet. The answer was well typically we don’t call it’s up to the employee to get whatever we ask for??? So yea I understand hardships have been very crazy lately but why fight 3 medical opinions?
Yea that’s what I’ve been doing just wish they would say that but we know how it is I’m guessing they don’t wanna say specifics bc then if I get that they are more pressured to approve since I would get exactly what they asked for. This way they still have a leg to stand on.Literally get every single document of the visits to each one of these specialists.
This is the type of situation where you drop the L word: "my lawyer is asking what exact type of documentation you need for the approval of this hardship reassignment"Yea that’s what I’ve been doing just wish they would say that but we know how it is I’m guessing they don’t wanna say specifics bc then if I get that they are more pressured to approve since I would get exactly what they asked for. Yea I was considering that and actually considering getting a lawyer just didn’t know what type of lawyer to look into. Didn’t expect all this backlash for what me and many others deemed a true hardship. #greatestjobintheworld lolThis is the type of situation where you drop the L word: "my lawyer is asking what exact type of documentation you need for the approval of this hardship reassignment"
It would be an employment lawyer, they are fairly common.Yea I was considering that and actually considering getting a lawyer just didn’t know what type of lawyer to look into. Didn’t expect all this backlash for what me and many others deemed a true hardship. #greatestjobintheworld lol
Thanks yea I’ll have to look into this still haven’t been officially denied but regional rep said expect it to be by tomorrow! It would be an employment lawyer, they are fairly common.
When you get the official denial memo from your manager it should have a couple email addresses "for more information or if you have any questions." They are FAA, not NATCA. Bypass your NATCA rep and email those FAA people the questions that your lawyer has. Protip- you don't actually have to have a lawyer. Thanks yea I’ll have to look into this still haven’t been officially denied but regional rep said expect it to be by tomorrow!

Since we can only go up 3 levels through hardship. If a hardship goes through then I get picked up from NCEPT in the same area. Can I still take NCEPT to the higher facility?
Asking the same question twice will not get it answered any quicker.Since we can only go up 3 levels through hardship. If a hardship goes through then I get picked up from NCEPT in the same area. Can I still take NCEPT to the higher facility?
Yea a wasted response does about the sameAsking the same question twice will not get it answered any quicker.

Taking a spot from someone else. This is a douchebag move.Yes.
How if I accept the nceptTaking a spot from someone else. This is a douchebag move.
I actually don’t know. But once you accept the hardship, it’s like 2 pay periods release. Would be funny to see if you got approved and then NCEPT selected, now you have to say that it’s not a hardshipHow if I accept the ncept
How is it a douchebag move to apply for a transfer to xyz facility and if that doesn't work out taking the next best thing via hardship (provided the hardship is legit and yada yada yada)? I mean if the intent is to get where you need to be and you can do it and make more why not? I mean if it was at some facility 600 miles away from where the hardship is to okay, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.Taking a spot from someone else. This is a douchebag move.
I'm sure if it's an approved hardship then an ncept selection pops up to that same area some wheeling and dealing dynamic decisions could be made to get you an ASAP release date. Just a guess.I actually don’t know. But once you accept the hardship, it’s like 2 pay periods release. If you leave your eRR in up to the moment you are selected even after you’ve been made aware of your hardship selection but after the ppt is locked, you are still on the books at your losing facility. Therefore allowing that facility to lose that additionally body. Before the ppt is locked that’s the facilities fault for not removing you from their staffing workbook. How is it a douchebag move to apply for a transfer to xyz facility and if that doesn't work out taking the next best thing via hardship (provided the hardship is legit and yada yada yada)? I'm all for brotherhood and being a team player and such but at the end of the day you are the only person really looking out for yourself, especially when it comes to big time life decisions. I'm not worried in the least about some faceless person I've never met or some person whose name i wont remember in 5 years being mad I "took" their spot. If it was their spot they'd have been ahead of me on the ranking list.
Again, in a situation where it's my livelihood and life situation I'm thinking about this isn't a concern of mine. That's not douchey thats making the best possible decision for myself. The faa being broken isn't my problem. Sorry about controller b's luck.If you leave your eRR in up to the moment you are selected even after you’ve been made aware of your hardship selection but after the ppt is locked, you are still on the books at your losing facility. See above. You knowingly are potentially blocking someone else’s selection because you feel like you can do better.
How is that on you to decide? Maybe there's short term care of the situation in place but longer term you need to be there. Maybe a medical issue is manageable for a few months more but eventually the move needs to happen. Maybe a family members anxiety over a situation is relieved a bit in the near term knowing you'll have where you need to be shortly etc etc etc.And if you leave in your eRR it’s not much of a hardship if you are willing to wait for the ncept selections timeline. Because who what manager would negotiate with you to screw with the timeline?
