I'll never forget the life of me understand why some players like a game that requires in-game purchases for tutorials and health packs and rewards cheating. And how a good portion of people who like these aspects of the game root for the cheaters when they continually lose because of the hackers and would be much better off if both dev teams fixed the issues.
As for new patch, I'm also not a fan, the slow stuttering frame rate is way too slow, much like the previous edition from this dev team, it's really not doing a great job sticking to the advertised fixes to the shitty in game mechanics, this character arc is obviously on its last legs and the new sidekick they are trying to introduce to take over the series is incredibly unappealing, though I rather like some of the other NPCs I feel like there was lots of surface things dome to appease portions of the player base but really don't matter.
and this is all on top of the attempts change what's available in my inventory, which while this has been on the devs list for a long time, I've never been a fan of that, they still haven't fixed the bugginess from the last patch (which was promised) and the recent debacle over on the central Asia server left a lot of new players high and dry, should have done a better job of porting them to one of the north American or European servers before dropping support, not making them buy thier own copy after all that beta testing.
Quite frankly I'm tired of this shitty series altogether, I'd definitely play something else if my system would support it, maybe it's time for a hardware upgrade, but if I have to sink playtime into this garbage game I guess this one is just a little less terrible, and the overall gaming community seems to be a little more accepting of this version.
Eh i agree with most of it, until the last paragraph. I think this sequel is worse than the last, and while this one appealed more at first to non-gamers, even they’re starting to see its major flaws. I expect the patches coming out next fall to address a lot of the flaws and steer things in a better direction.
