It sucks. A better job if you can get it is ATC coordinator. The people who break the balls of the command center.

I almost got that job for JetBlue but they fucked around during the hiring process. After what I thought was a great interview, they told me they weren't selecting me. A week later the job got reposted so I emailed the recruiter, and she said it's mine if I want it but I have to pay for and get a dispatcher cert. on top of that the job was only paying like $80k so I declined.

Amen. I've got more than one degree and can attest to this. I'm dumb AF.

I also work 6 days a week & sit on slow/dead sectors during the slowest days so the brain rot is real right now.

99% of the Senate and 94% of the House have at a minimum a bachelor's degree. Proof enough college does not do anything if it's tool aren't applied.
