Vegas Hotel Union Votes to Strike!

Another union fighting for their rights!

RAZE WEN?
This will cause so much disruption... ATC cannot strike but imagen the economical impacts of a 48 hour strike for ATC in the USA. Billions of dollars lost in 48 hours when a 100% raise could be had for less then 1 billion.

Anyone be to Vegas lately? I can’t believe how bad it’s become. Food used to be “cheap”, now it’s like eating in London. All the hotels and casinos are either ridiculously outdated, or cost $300 a night. Also constant panhandlers and dickheads dressed like Spider Man and countless street performers the second you step outside which I know some people like but I hate that shit.

Old Vegas good though. Still lots of panhandling

Vegas goes through cycles like every 15-20 years where it’s really awesome, then turns into a complete shit hole, then starts getting nice again. It started going downhill a couple years before COVID and I’d say has probably reached shit hole status again now. Probably another 5 years at least until they start turning it around again.

They gotta get back to what people want. Cheap food, free booze, and affordable rooms in nice hotels/casinos. Doing away with all the buffets was mistake #1. They also need to get back to good entertainment. Right now Adele and U2 are the only big headliners in residency, and people are burned on the same old Cirque Du Soleil/magic shows/blue man group options. If you’re gonna spend that type of money, might as well fly to New York or somewhere and see a decent show.

I spent 7 years out there and left at the end of 2016. if you want a better experience you need to go off the Strip and even away from Fremont Street as well. There are a handful of resorts that do a great job of being an entire vacation in a single property. Places like The M, Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock Resort, and South Point all offer varying degrees of an all-in-one type place where you can gamble well, eat reasonably, lounge at the pool, and stay in nice rooms.

I have always encouraged people to, after getting their Strip/Fremont St experiences for a vacation, to do a non "Vegas experience" vacation at the next opportunity. Stay at one of the above-mentioned places, rent a car and go out to Red Rock Canyon or Mt Charleston or Valley of Fire, and eat at local places that will blow your mind. Way better trip and you still get to gamble your brains and bank accounts out if you want.

So angry.

I’m just out here spreading the good word of the RAZE WEN MVMNT, recognizing we’re all underpaid even those cap’d out with 10% CIP.

You need stop worrying that you and your management peers will get left behind when RAZE NAU happens for the bargaining unit. I’m sure FAAMA will have your back!

We are so severely underpaid. "commercial aviation" makes up 5% of the USA GDP or 1.25 Trillion dollars. If 100% of ATC didn't show up to work that would come to a grinding halt. We will never get an astronomical raise but we deserve a 100% raise. including N90... If these N90 guys would get on board they could be making 400K-500K a year.

I stand in solidarity with my brother and sisters in Clark county! Shut down that dirty Euro F1 race. This isnt Abu Dhabi full of human trafficked indentured servants. Here we demand proper compensation and a living wage! Supporting Vegas is also great Karma for ATC's RAZEWEN movement, which we are close to willing into existence SUUN.

The Las Vegas F1 Race Could Be Absolute Chaos If Hotel Workers Strike
