What kind of weak shit is this?We got our list at the end of the day today, my classmates wish to keep it to ourselves for now, I’ll let you know when/if they change their minds but there are a lot of duplicates. 14/16 are duplicates.
Not my decision, just respecting everyone else’s.What kind of weak shit is this?
What an idiot. It’s your fucking career not these other peoples. Not my decision, just respecting everyone else’s.
To be fair, not that I agree with them, but what is gained by sharing it? I may be ignorant of the reason for sharing, so lmk if there is a reason, that helps my career. What an idiot. It’s your fucking career not these other peoples.
“Forum Sage” status on PointSixtyFive is forever, bro.To be fair, not that I agree with them, but what is gained by sharing it? I may be ignorant of the reason for sharing, so lmk if there is a reason, that helps my career.
Never thought of it that way!“Forum Sage” status on PointSixtyFive is forever, bro.
I mean this website is filled with people from each center on your list that can provide insight and advice. I’m just curious where did you finish in your class? To be fair, not that I agree with them, but what is gained by sharing it? I may be ignorant of the reason for sharing, so lmk if there is a reason, that helps my career.
We eval Friday and Monday.I mean this website is filled with people from each center on your list that can provide insight and advice. I’m just curious where did you finish in your class?
Early morning ?We eval Friday and Monday.
There’s no point in hiding anything because it’s public (enough) information in the intranet. Theres also no point in hiding it even if you could. There’s also no point in being upset at them for this same reason. You don’t have to be in the class to post the list on hereNot my decision, just respecting everyone else’s.
What is gained by not sharing it? I can’t imagine anyone’s reasoning for wanting it to be a secret. To be fair, not that I agree with them, but what is gained by sharing it? I may be ignorant of the reason for sharing, so lmk if there is a reason, that helps my career.
How does it hurt your career by sharing it? Comes off like a bunch of made up drama so people can feel important when it can be found other ways.To be fair, not that I agree with them, but what is gained by sharing it? I was responding to someone else with this, I wasn’t saying sharing it would hurt my career, I was just saying I was respecting my classmates wishes. I don’t know why they really wanted to, but it seems to be public anyways. Doesn’t matter now.How does it hurt your career by sharing it? Comes off like a bunch of made up drama so people can feel important when it can be found other ways.
Use the phone calls to your advantage. The evals are all specifically designed to distract you. When the phone rings, look at the scope and make sure you have all your ducks in a row before answering. We eval Friday and Monday.
Thanks! I feel pretty good so far, just anxious waiting for the eval days now. I only need to average a 59 to pass or like an 89 on the first two runs to pass.Use the phone calls to your advantage. And for the love of God, fully complete a task before moving on to the next task.
In my opinion, 2 of the evals are easy. 1 is hard.
Don’t lose stupid points on the easy ones. See above.
As for the hard one, when shit hits the fan, and it will, solve for color quickly and watch for point outs with approaches. OKC loves sneaking those by you when you are trying to solve for RED. Don’t worry too much about “controller judgement” here. Just separate the airplanes and get back to looking at the scope.
If you get a problem with a flight plan, move the traffic first! There will only be 1 piece of traffic. Once it is moved, you can take your time with typing in the flight plan.
Every word that comes out of your mouth is said with the utmost conviction. Confidence is key on evals. The evaluators love hearing you run a “good” problem.
Scope 85% of the time. EDST 15% of the time.
I went in with 26.2 points and passed. You can do this.
Side note: Eval days suck. You will see people shed tears. It is gut wrenching to watch your friends have to go home without the job. You must remain focused on the task at hand though.
Good luck!
