In the PPT...Where can we see current TSL?
Yeah I figured since the whole NCEPT process is completely different and we have never used a TSL before today that there might be a different avenue to view this thanks for sharingIn the PPT...
Maybe we need a rule where if you dont atleast try to find information without asking others to do it for you, you cant transfer.
Here ya go 😅
No problem, just giving you a hard time.Yeah I figured since the whole NCEPT process is completely different and we have never used a TSL before today that there might be a different avenue to view this thanks for sharing
So when applying if someone has been at a level 6 for 5 years and a cpc has been at an 11 2 years the 6 gets ranked higher?Apparently its based on time at current facility
this isnt completely current right? they said the PPT would be finalized and published on tuesday 6/23In the PPT...

So this takes out any say of the atm. Which I guess is a good thing but also that seems like it punishes higher level controllers. Oh well. We’ll see how this plays out. No right answer for this stuff.Correct
Never underestimate the Agency wanting the time back in you that has been invested. So this takes out any say of the atm. Which I guess is a good thing but also that seems like it punishes higher level controllers. Oh well. We’ll see how this plays out. No right answer for this stuff.
The whole point is to push people into the "important" facilities. They dont want the people already at the core 30 and "important" facilities leaving. Lubbock going limiting services due to staffing doesnt make the news. ATL does. The agency doesnt give a shit about what the individuals doing the job actually want.So this takes out any say of the atm. Which I guess is a good thing but also that seems like it punishes higher level controllers. Oh well. We’ll see how this plays out. No right answer for this stuff.
Correct. It’s more progress into encroaching on management rights. The old NCEPT took away their ability to select and had them rank. And removed their ability to not select so even if they rank someone last it would still get approved if their facility staffing was good enough. This goes further and just mandates all inbounds onto the atm.So this takes out any say of the atm.
There’s lots of pros/cons winner/loser to unpack with this but it doesn’t actually punish high level for being high level it just doesn’t give you any merit for it. It doesn’t give you any merit for anything though except length of service in your current position. So all the new guys will go to the bottom. Checking out quickly at a low tower will still be a future asset. It’ll extract many more controllers out of their first facility. And there’s no more worrying about the manager calling your facility to get the ‘he’s a piece of shit scammer’ reference check because you’ve been a piece of shit scammer for the last 10 years.Which I guess is a good thing but also that seems like it punishes higher level controllers.

Is there a limit on how many selections a facility can make?Correct. It’s more progress into encroaching on management rights. The old NCEPT took away their ability to select and had them rank. Correct
How fucking dare you act like the cornerstone of the NAS going down doesn’t affect EVERYTHING!The whole point is to push people into the "important" facilities. They dont want the people already at the core 30 and "important" facilities leaving. Lubbock going limiting services due to staffing doesnt make the news. ATL does. Nope, you just can't fall below the limit set in the MOU if you're a losing facility. The numbers you can gain or lose are already in the PPT in the last few columns. So ZOB could lose 34 people this week theoretically. As of the current PPT (not the updated one coming out in a couple days), 127 facilities can release someone and 111 facilities can gain someone. 84 facilities are in limbo and can't lose or gain anyone right now.Is there a limit on how many selections a facility can make?
I don’t see it as a punishment. Both people were randomly selected for terminal or enroute. No reason the enroute guy should get priority just cuz he was luckier to go to a high level right away.So this takes out any say of the atm. Which I guess is a good thing but also that seems like it punishes higher level controllers. Oh well. We’ll see how this plays out. No right answer for this stuff.
Because then you get the good ole boys mentality creating a toxic workplace and violating the EEOC in a way that is impossible to stopThis shit is so retarded. Why can’t we just apply to any opening like any other company or job on earth
