I am currently updating my resume for my ERR paperwork. What kind of references did you guys put on yours? Also, did you include non-aviation related work experience on you resume? (i.e. fast food restaurant in college, home depot, etc.)
I used the resume that I got hired with then just added my current FAA facility. My other jobs were all ATC except one other which was a government job also and I put it. I don't think the job history would matter to much if it's not ATC but that's my opinion. I guess you could justify putting a job that you gained some valuable experiences at that would make you more attractive when being ranked by an ATM but who knows

What if you don't have any other relevant experience other than CTI? (I cringed typing CTI, it's so frowned upon for some reason)

I'm just going to update my resume with this position and attach it like I would if I were applying to any other job.

I've had co-workers submit resumes that:
1) Have 5+ page resumes where they detail every position they've held in the military, and elsewhere
2) Take my approach.
3) Just sheet of paper that just listed the places where they have been an FAA ATC.

#3 is not a very good idea. Managers put weight on certain military ratings. Put down all your aviation experience.

So, I have a strange question. On the PPT it has the average certification percentage for each facility and from what I've read here and also from what I've heard, it sounds like it's an average of like facilities in my area. Our actual facility pass rate is 100%. We haven't had a failure in at least 9 years and have had close to 15 certifications in that time frame. My question is: can our ATM have that percentage changed to reflect our actual number? The reason being: if our percentage truly was 100% like it should be, we'd be able to release someone on the next NCEPT. Right now we cannot.

Thanks for the help!

These were just updated with accurate training success rates. So yours should now be accurate for the time frame they are using. No, I don't believe your ATM can change it.

The number for our facility is wrong though. We had one failure about 15 years ago but haven't had one since. So, is there someone he can call to fix it?

And if we haven't had any of those either? I doubled checked with the controllers who have been at our facility for 10+ years too just to be sure. Every person who has walked through our doors since 2008 (the year we moved into the new tower) has certified. We've never had a hardship, or someone quit or resign. It's just frustrating because I don't understand where this number comes from because it seems to be completely inaccurate. I'll double double check with management tomorrow, but could it be changed if it is found to be incorrect?

RVP's have access to the data points, if after getting with management, you feel it is in error, get with your FacRep, escalate it to the RVP, ask him for names and dates of the training failures. If anything, it could jar someone's memory. It's easy to forget someone who shows up and quits two weeks later (it happens).
Theoretically yes, it could be changed, they have at least demonstrated in the past that they will correct the PPT if found incorrect. Make sure to have your investigation done before the PPT executes for the next panel or you're out of luck.

Thank you! Will definitely be doing this tomorrow.

Scenario: 3 people just got picked up. 2 with a Cat 2 release and 1 with Cat 1 (3mo). They already have there dates set to leave. Say we go back up to Cat 1 release and neither of the Cat 2 guys want to leave earlier than the date agreed upon already, that Cat 1 release would then be offered to the highest priority selected this upcoming panel right? Rugbydog don't take the Cat 1 release and I will give you a ZJ
