You won't get a waiver approved, for an ERR, if your facility is short staffed. Unfortunately, I'll be getting off the mid that morning so I won't be around on the 30th during admin hours.

Yeah I didn't do well expressing my sarcasm for the lovely waiver/ERR process.

Did you know a Shawn Gray? He came back up to us here at MDT.

I worked with him for a few years. Nice guy, but he wanted to get back home so he got out before the National Release MOU blocked him from leaving.

67 CPCs with:
1 Fac Rep (doing a ton of union stuff locally/regionally so 2-3 days a week off the boards)
1 part timer (3 days a week at A80)
1 permanently assigned to the NTSB (1 day a week at A80 aka OT)
1 temporarily assigned to Support Specialist (helping with their "workload" in the back, but keeps currency on their OT)
2 temporarily assigned to TMU (NTE 2 years)

28 Trainees with:
1 on LWOP for close to a year (was in process of TRB)
1 on baby leave for months (hasn't done anything other than data)
3 already washed out and TRB completed
1 put in for a sup job before he certified on a single position other than data
1 just resigned from agency
1 is on LWOP and most likely will resign from agency (was in process of TRB)

We are currently working with 61 CPCs (fac rep not included in total) and 21 trainees (wanna be sup included in total) at some point (classroom/simulations/actual training) in the process.

So actual numbers are 61 out of 102 (59.8%)
OR AGENCY INFLATED
67 out of 102 (65.7%)
I'll let you decide what's the more accurate one given the facility's budget for OT in 2017 is over $3.5M...

The ERR has been in since I toured in February. I know a few guys here who are interested but we're shackled by the MOU. Any word on if a bid or exemption will be made? The region has said if they cannot get the necessary people off of ERRs they will open MPP bids at said facilities. I think that time has come...

I've been pushing for us to get added to the C90/N90 MOU since the beginning of 2015. Rumor now is that we are going to get added to it and we are going to have a paid move bid come out soon. Yet, that rumor has been going around since I started getting people involved to push for it in 2015. Personally, I believe it is a lot of talking and nothing more.

How do enroute controllers tend to do here? Im debating putting in ERR paperwork for A80 in the hopes that one day ZME can release people.

Our last two controllers from ZME certified here.
4/9 (44.4%) on certifications, for all center transfers, since 2010. This doesn't include anyone in training now (1 person) with an enroute background.

Whats the training process like?
You are assigned a line, you do classroom, you have to pass sims, you report to the floor, and then you must certify on your assigned line. It's a level 12 tracon so training is tough. Slightly more than half of people reporting here will not achieve certification here.

With the new NCEPT process, you'll be selected assuming your current facility is allowed to release you.
Well damn...We we're going to be eligible, but just found out today some guy got a waiver for a TMU job and they asked for him to leave Sept. 3rd. This f-ing sucks.
