Ok paper I agree but controllers around him contribute to this shitty employee just as much. People generally, not all, do what they can get away with based on what is around them. If people called him out time and time again, his fuck ups would be reducedSome pretty wild shit is coming out about this dude. Sounds like the WOKE agency's worst nightmare. Fired training teams. Baseless claims. Toxic shit!! I bet the Austin controllers are scared shitless to speak out. There is only one way this story ends w the current insane culture. Thanks NATCA
Facility problem child! Impotent leadership. Red lights everywhere?????

Training all the time is good cus you never know what’s going to happen that will teach you something you need to know. But the concept of hours is outdated or just I don’t see the point. Maybe do weeks or months or just general progress. You can actually just TRB someone if they are at hours or not if they stalled out and aren’t going to make itI didn't like waiting for that traffic when I was in training, but I get that line of thinking and see how it makes sense. My opinion is the NTI should be lowered or facility-specific, but if you're not working traffic, you should be 100% on your rules, phraseology, and knowledge checks a good OJTI should be giving during slow hours.
It's TEAMS!Did he do his weather and check his cedar?
I’m not simply talking about after this incident, I’m saying shitty employees are made in part because of what they see around them, what managment let’s them get away with, and them knowing they can always say, I’m not the only one who had a deal today, Johnny did too and didn’t report it. You see it time and time again, these known shitheads keep notes of what everyone else is doing.Unless he’s protected by the higher ups for PR reasons. Then he’s bulletproof.
In this case, this individual faked a hate crime to leave a facility. The investigation found the preponderance of evidence shows that he did it but they didn’t have a smoking gun, rather than discipline him for faking a hate crime they transferred him to another facility just like he wanted. That’s how he ended up at Austin.I’m not simply talking about after this incident, I’m saying shitty employees are made in part because of what they see around them, what managment let’s them get away with, and them knowing they can always say, I’m not the only one who had a deal today, Johnny did too and didn’t report it.
